I think it's gonna be Idzik also.

He seems like a good candidate and seems to have the resume we need

So much for getting Idzik. I don't think Angelo was ever in the mix to begin with. I don't trust a word that bastard says

Good article on Khan from about 2 years ago...

    http://mynorthwest.com/?nid=422&sid=270805

Seems like a bright kid. Looks like he's been pretty involved with the personnel side as well as the cap. The fact that Cowher would say that about him is some compliment.

"Has an impressive background. Khan is sharp, innovative, young and talented. He is just 32. The Steelers want quality and talent at every level, regardless of age or name. He works very closely with Colbert on the personnel side as well as handling cap issues on the business side. Khan has helped uncover some of the Steelers late round success stories (Ike Taylor, Larry Foote, etc.)."

"My source tells me that trust extends beyond current Steelers employees, and that Bill Cowher has said when he lands a head coaching position, he will hire Khan as his general manager."

    Brian Costello

Another person the Jets interviewed for their GM opening last week was former Patriots general counsel Jack Mula, according to a source.

The media has no handle on this GM process at all. Thank God.

Here is my guess. Khan gets the job, but they assign Cohen additional responsibilities in the personnel arena while Khan works the cap issues. WAG on my part

I don't know what to think anymore but I am encouraged by things I'm reading on Idzik and Kahn.

Sounds encouraging to me.. Could be a good move, he has a lot of strong positive opinions of him from a lot of respected people throughout the NFL. I'm not thrilled at hiring someone that has primary focus on the money side of things, I would much rather have someone with a strong scouting background, but I trust that this search will pull out someone really good for this team.

More draft and personnel power for Rex? He'd like that.

Never trust a man with a "Z" in the middle of his name.

Oh goody, another cap guy running the show. Apparently, Tannenbaum was fired for gambling and losing, but NOT for not knowing about football players.

Nope, just getting on the board now for the first time in a day or two. Catching up. Reading some other posts now and I see he's got some personnel experience.

One of the interesting things about Khan is that Jed Hughes headed up the search in Seattle where Khan was runner up

While everyone zigs, I'll zag. Hearing nothing about Khan, Idzik & Cohen for #Jets GM, but (believe it or not) Gamble & Sundquist.

I agree..if Cohen gets this position....the whole SEARCH was a farce, Idzik to me is the choice, Woody needs to get this front office straightened out....
