If Jarvis Jones clears medically I would love that pick. Only defensive player outside of maybe Manti Teo and Star I would want us to pick in the first.
There is no way Warmack goes 4 guards just don't go that high Alec Ogletree I heard he was mid- late first haven't seen a lot of him but a top 10 pick? And i also don't see star making it out of the top 5 Matt Barkley also is not a top 10 pick and if we take him i will be pissed Fluker is also a late 1 early 2 not a top 15 pick
Eddy Lacy is a definite 1st rounder? Guess I'm too greedy by hoping he'd last till second round. === For Jarvis Jones, the questions are all medical which makes me feel lost when trying to judge him. I've googled his condition and read some players retire early & don't even begin football careers. However, there's also been a OL from Redskins who played quite a few years. LB is a position which takes a lot of hits. The biggest red flag for me is that USC medical staff deemed him unfit to play. Isn't their medical school one of the better ones in USA? They pulled off a 150M donation so we're talking about big time medical staff & facilities. Jones looks like a stud but Jets are drafting early enough to have a chance @ other potential difference makers without the medical risks. === Assuming the first 8 picks happen exactly like this mock draft, I'd prefer Jets pick between: Dion Jordan & Fisher. Do you all think Vaccaro could get some consideration? Some of the scouting reports I've read online list him as capable of playing FS & SS. Also, I think Laron Landry is not coming back to Jets next season.
If Jarvis Jones' medical condition is that bad, then I wouldn't take him at 9. If we traded back and he was still there then maybe, but if its certain that his career will be short then no way at 9.
Moore, Werner ( whom you started a thread on this year about drafting him ), Jordan, and even Ansah all have the talent to become the elite player off the edge we have lacked for years. What offensive prospect are you drafting over those type of guys, because the list of them that have game changing talent are few and far in between.
U are right about guards going that high but if u get a guy that is that much better than the pack it may make some sense for a team to take a guard top ten. Teams will have to measure warmack against dicastro from last year who went to the steelers. IMO he is better and could warrant a selection around 9 or 10. Agree that 4 is too high unless he swings to left tackle which at this point I don't see happening.
Yea true, forgot to mention them and I would love Moore or Werner but I doubt they will be there at #9. Jones with his condition still might rear teams away despite clearing and his length and size as well. His speed on the edge is ridiculous.
