Can Baltimore finally beat NE? They outplayed them last year and still managed a way to lose the game, then miss tying the game.
You could argue they were outplayed by Denver. Hopefully "win one for Ray" goes the "win one for the bus" road.
30 plus years as a Jets fan. As I watch this game, I just can't imagine the Jets being this good year in and year out. I wish the worst insult a fan of another team could give me is, "Ha...you lost your last 2 Super bowls!"
Because they have a good owner, GM, Coach and QB, the 4 most important factors in getting a good team.
The last 5 afc championships have included either Sanchez or flacco, so clearly some of the top QBs in the afc right?
Don't play dumb Everyone and their mama knows the patriots are winning next week, and if its close it will probably be another godsend (lee Evans, cundiff, etc)
Did Simms seriously just suggest kicking a field goal when you're down 13 points and there are 30 seconds left? How do these guys say these idiotic things?
Houston had an OT game against Jags and went on to beat the Lions. Patriots had an OT game against us, and went on to spank the Rams in London. I think Baltimore will be fine. It's not like they even went through a whole 2 OTs anyways...
No. I said they are important factors not necessary conditions. Also continued succes is different than a run. BAL has good ownership, a good GM and a good coach, so they are consistently pretty good despite lacking in the 4th Jets haven't been able to sustain success because they lack between 2 and 4 of those factors.
I feel like good fortune skipped over the jets Marino Dolphins in the 80's, Kelly Bills in the 90's, Brady's faggots in the 00's Are we next? Probably not.
No one who can do arithmetic in his head in allowed on the air. Simms probably thought 13-3=8. Or maybe they'll go back to the era when FGs were worth 5 points. re: Ravens This year's Ravens is not as good as last year's version so I'm not optimistic.
