yeah they should've been prepared for a second play or a spike if they did get the first I guess they weren't so they called a timeout
that's how I saw it live, but the refs often blow those calls. There was a similar one a few weeks ago where it got snapped before the clock hit zero, but the refs wanted to go to the bathroom or something.

For those predicting a comeback,last week after they fell behind 14-0, RGIII was a lame QB who was throwing off his back leg and everything was 5 feet over the receivers head. That had as much to do with that comeback as anything. Falcons will score at least 6 or 7 more points today, so it will take 4 TDs to beat them. Those missed opportunities in the 1st half will come back to haunt them IMO
Its the playoffs though. I really don't even give a shit who wins this game, its just irresponsible to not even be able to review that play. I don't blame the refs for getting the call wrong, it was close. However, you can clearly see on a replay that he got the play off. What I do blame the refs for is taking their time to spot the ball when Seattle was ready, it wouldn't have even been a close call about getting the snap off if the refs had a little urgency. Its a key play in a playoff game, they were in the red zone, Seattle could have easily completed a TD pass. The refs have to let that play be snapped and then review it after if needed, its just irresponsible to blow the play dead before you know if it is the correct call or not because it wasn't the correct call.

You can't. Its a ridiculous rule though. Its a playoff game, its a key play in the red zone. To review stupid shit like White's obvious TD catch earlier, but not this is ridiculous.
They weren't set, Pereira is correct about that. Fox's replay doesn't show the clock correctly though. That was in real time, I watched in slow motion. It was close, but you can see Wilson reversing out with the ball in his hand with the clock at :01 in slow motion.
Look y'all act like 20-0 is a big lead, it isnt. I pulled a 24 pt comeback back in my day by the end of the 3rd we were tied 30-30.
