the bad officiating continues, the ref right next to a facemask penalty overrules a correct call from the back judge
Peter King the Patriots fan? Jones with a great catch, adn Harris running it in to take a 14-7 lead
oh, must've been a typo. You meant are they seriously suggesting they would go for it on 4th down. Stupidity but that's what we get with today's announcers.
Houston is losing by 20 plus tomorrow imo. Mediocre secondary is just begging Brady to hang 40 on that team. And while the Ravens defense should put up a fight, Brady should still put up 30 against them, and win by 7-10. Best chance to beat Brady this year is for Rodgers to beat him 45-42 in a shootout imo.
I don't know where that comes from. He tweaks BB in his column every chance he gets. He has been on Manning's root ever since Favre retired for the 4th time.
Didn't realize I made a typo. Are the announcers really so much worse than they used to be? It sure seems that way, but I think fans are also much more knowledgable about technical stuff than they used to be. Still, that doesn't explain some of the completely ridiculous things announcers seem to say these days.
That's an interesting take. More talented might be a stretch for the amount of talent Brady can put on the field I hesistate on Brady because he's only had two big playoff games recently, against Broncos last year and against the Jags in 2007. Outside of those games, really hasn't played great at all.
I go by overall personal - running the ball, throwing the ball, Defense and Special Teams. QB -is the only edge Denver and NE had on them. They were the best team in the AFC last year as well until Schaub went down. I think Houston rushes for over 200 yards tomorrow and wins fairly comfortably. Something like 28 - 17.
I really don't know. I tend to think so because of all the ignorance on the air these days but it could be it was always this way. We constantly have announcers who are unaware of the rules, the game situation, etc.
The last 6 weeks of the season they've been less than mediocre, and haven't been able to stop anyone on D. They should've lost on Thanksgiving, but won when the refs let a down player get back up and score. They beat the Jags in OT and gave up 30+ points Lost to the Pats by alot They beat the Colts at home Lost to the Vikings Lost to the Colts It's gonna take more than lettermen jackets this week
The last good game Houston played was probably in October when they dominated the Ravens. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teameff New England's offense and special teams are vastly superior to those of Houston. Can Houston win? Sure, but I'd give you 4 to 1 odds. Houston, by the way, deserved to lose to Jacksonville, and Jacksonville was without their top QB and their top RB. and the game was in Houston from November on, Houston has been below average
The Denver 2ndary coach f***** up this game. His DB's were 5-10 yards off the line of scrimmage on that last-second TD. They should have been 20 yards off the line, and the safeties should have been 30 yards. I've played DB and you DO NOT get beat like that. Let them get a 20-30 yard pass play -- the clock is running. They're gonna waste 20 seconds before the next play gets off -- under 20 seconds left. Moore totally screwed up but it's his 2ndary coach who is to blame.
That play was horrific. You knew you had to done one thing, not let them get behind you, and they let them get behind them
John Buccigross @Buccigross Ray Rice- 30 carries, 131 yards. Flacco 3 TD's, 0 int. Denver lost because their defense was shredded and conservative game calling #FoxNews I posted this for the hashtag. Clever play on words by Buccigross
