Nah majority thought he wouldn't want to come NY, he wouldn't take a pay cut, we had no cap room to offer him a blank check. It was never realistically possible

    I was being sarcastic. Obviously, I know they're not a circus/embarrassment.

That being said, this is looking like a good game. 28-21 will be the final score.

Was it really the majority? I can't remember. Seemed like people here just thought it was never gonna happen.

If so, sad.........very sad. Not that the Jets had the overall team talent to win it all even with Manning.

Fun game so far! Glad the Broncos didn't get screwed on the non-called PI.

I am torn in this game.
I would rather see the Ravens win but I do not think they could be the Pats.
Thing is I really do not think the Pats are winning tomorrow even though every one else in the world does, so I guess I am just watching this game to see what happens and not root for anyone - cause I can't stand the Broncos or Manning.

By the way Peyton manning on SNL is hilarious if nobody has ever seen it before. His commercial reminded me

I campaigned for Peyton to become a Jet and nearly 90% of this board shitted on me because they all claimed he would never be good again, and that I was nuts to think he could make the Jets a contender.

Again people were assuming Peyton would take a major pay cut to come here.
That's what was ridiculous especially now seeing he received a blank check AND jobs for his receiving pals

If I was a totally unbiased fan, I'd be rooting for Broncos NE next week.

As a Pats fan it's probably better the Ravens win. However, I hate the Ravens more than Manning or the Broncos... so I'll just root forthem tobeat each other up, and let the chips fall where they fall.

BTW, the only way the Pats lose tomorrow would be if they have a major collapse. Not happening IMO.

Off topic question: Are those coats that those players always wear in the cold on sale anywhere...?

You are wrong, we actually figured it out that we had the money, it was never about the money.

Peyton just didnt want to come to the circus.

Ravens are doing a good job mixing things up. Big 3rd and 2 now.
Got stopped on this same down and distance on the first drive

I don't recall this at all. Not the part about you lobbying for Peyton, I'm sure you did if you say you did...

...but I don't remember a large majority on here sayng Peyton would never be good again. I do remember alot feeling the cost and Peyton's preferrences made a match unlikely.

Punt takes a HUGE Baltimore bounce. Beyonce is a good choice for Super Bowl halftime
