Do you have anything useful to add other than go into every thread and call people names?

Well. that has nothing to do with this season as LB coach, he's KC's DC coach let see how he does.

I'm not excited to see Sutton go, but I'm excited to see Sutton go. (i.e. he's not Sparano terrible but change is/was necessary)

I really do hope this opens the door for Rob Ryan to come in and coach for the Jets. Can you imagine two Ryans on the same team saying ****?

Obviously Sutton isn't a bad coach as 3 different HCs kept him on their staff. He had average at best results as both DC and LB coach though so not too phased.

He has had mostly shit to work with at the LB position. I'll be interested to see what he does at the DC position.

Do you not remember 2006-2008? He was despised as DC here.

He was as much of a DC during those years as Pettine has been in recent years. I want to see what he has when given to chance to produce his own product.

Bob Sutton made mud pies from piles of mud & you're complaining because you wanted fine cuisine?

The LB was old & slow & couldn't set the edge since last season. As badly as they struggled they did not under perform talent-wise.

I can agree with this. Think it's time to hit the reset button on quite a few positions within this organization.

the younger guys at lb have progressed much more slowly than the younger guys at our other positions. our linebackers were old and slow, but the young guys were often not able to come in and take a majority of snaps

You can make arguments that it was coaching, but the personnel people did not exactly distinguish themselves in finding LB talent, either. Hard to find delineation.

very true but i think demario davis could have had a bigger impact given his skillset coming out of college. i just find it odd that the team can have younger and inexperienced guys playing at a high level everywhere on the field but at lb.
