You're one hell of a soldier ... fighting reality until the bitter end. Good for you. Don't ever let anyone tell you Tebow doesn't have what it takes to be an NFL QB. They're all wrong. Right down to every last NFL GM - all wrong. It's just unfortunate that none of them can see how he could have saved so many GM's and coaches. Stick to your guns son.
All the teams in the league should make him a starter ASAP! He (more importantly their defense) beat a mediocre Dolphins team! A franchise that has sucked for the last decade! What an accomplishment! Back to reality, no one wants a clown. You folks are just like those fools in the last election that though Romney would win easily...Those clowns thought all the polls were wrong...Same delusional fools.
So Tebow scored 2 TDs to a Dolphins team that pretty much gave up. Remember, Tebow only had 4 completions for 40 yards in the first 3.5 quarters. I don't know ANY NFL team that would want their QB to put up those statistics.
It's amazing to see the clowns try to hard to disavow reality... The Jags forum seems to be pretty excited to hear this news...No one wants a clown show.
In conclusion, Matt Prater is a boss (and a mentally retarded STD-infested douchebag but that's obligatory)
I respect Caldwell for making it clear in no shape or form does he want him. That's actually good for Tebow, he won't have any false illusions and can start planning his future, whether that's in the Canadian league or Florida college football either coaching or broadcasting. For the Jets if there was any doubt left you look like complete idiots trading for him and then misusing him until you completely devalued whatever worth he had to begin with. Jets also look pretty bad by misleading Tim and treating him like garbage all season long.
You're right. No one has ever said/implied that, especially here at TGG... If you had written "ever ever" then maybe it would've come true.
Confirmation bias quoting others (specifically Tebots)? Seriously? It's alright, if I dismissively (some would say arrogantly, too) wrote an incorrect statement I'd be frustrated too. You probably don't understand confirmation bias: either the Tebots are anti-Tebow or what I quoted was misleading/incomplete/taken out of context (neither of which are true).
They haven't finished evaluating him and they're trying to clean off all the egg on their face. I expect for them to go about it the cowards way. Hire a new GM and have him get rid of Tebow and say we're going in a new direction. Sparing Rex and Woody the Mea culpa. We didn't get rid of him the new GM did and us being nice guys had to accommodate his wishes.
but he didn't even leave the door open a crack. what do you want them to say? "yea we had a plan for him, but when he got here and started practicing it turns out we totally misjudged just how bad he was. we felt bad for him so we threw him in there as p.p.p. and just let him run it up the gut a few times a game." you really want to hear that?
