    Jags don't want him either...

Jacksonville's GM Press Converence: (Where he was inevitably asked about the worlds most popular bench warmer)

"I can't imagine a scenario where Tim Tebow would be a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, even if he is released..."

    OUCH!!!

So what are some other likely destinations where he might get a chance to start? Siberia?

They're banking on us cutting him so that they can keep their draff picks and signing him once he's a FA. I say we put a few smokescreens out there that a few teams have shown interest in Tebow when we get a new GM.

Unreal, a new GM already realizes what the jets still have not, no real GM wants Tebow as their QB or on their team for that matter.

Or they are telling the truth and simply don't want him or the distraction he brings on a team trying to start over and cleaning house.

I know. I was only kidding. I really wish we could get something...anything...for him rather than just dumping him. I'll even go as far as taking a 7th rounder for fuck's sake!

    Forget it.

Every team in the league knows that Rex didn't want Tebow, and he survived the purge. there was no way in hell Tebow was going to stay on the Jets and maintain a healthy working relationship with Rex.

Every team, GM, fan, etc. on the planet knows it. Get something of value for him? That ship sailed when he was snubbed for some playing time in favor of the third stringer when Sanchez was benched... then going back to Sanchez when THAT guy didn't work out.

    Just cut him. Why wait?

Yep, especially when the quarterback that they are with is only entering his 3rd year.

I would love to see them get a 7th rounder for him instead of just cutting him.

The Jets have already pretty much said he won't be back..why the concern? There was absolutely NO chance we could ever trade him anyway as people know we had to trade or cut him.

It could be over for Tim, too bad so many despise him and the media is so relentless with him , exciting football player, fun guy to watch.

I definitely think this could be the end.

Actually they have not said that, in fact Woody Johnson said he would be with the Jets for three years. Rex said no QB evaluations yet until GM and OC is hired. Yeah he is probably is gone but technically they have not said that at all.

Well, I didn't find seeing our punter out there as often as he was really all that exciting. So we will disagree there. Exciting for about 5 minutes, but really painful the first 55.... most of the time anyway.

    ...and this isn't the end.

Tebow is still a jet, and no official decisions have been made on him. We all can pretty much guess what the jets are going to do, everyone reading this is probably thinking along similar lines on that.

but if he is still under contract with the jets, why would some other GM express interrest in him when the new NFL year does not start for another 2 months?

A LOT of people want to see Tebow play. There is a HUGE market out there for him among those buying tickets. SOMEONE will pick him up.

^No one wants the clown show associated with the clown. The Jets didn't benefit financially. It only brought negative attention from the clown show atmosphere.

No team will pick up Tim's leftover 1st round draft contract. It's inevitable that Jets have to cut him in order to save cap and roster space.
As a Tebow fan, I am so excited to hear that from Jaguars! It will push Jets to cut him sooner, instead of dragging him till March 1st.

If the Jets hire this guy Popp, with CFL experience, anything is possible.

Say good bye to the NFL Timmy and say hello to the CFL or the AFL or coaching.
