The only way Tebow is going to the playoffs at all next is if he ends up sitting on the bench for a team like the Patriots. He's not going to lead a team like Jacksonville to the playoffs. Even if he IS as good as you seem to think he is, Jacksonville has far too many holes on that team to make that jump in one year.
I think Tebow's long term career aspirations are better served at the moment if he goes to the CFL or go somewhere he can actually play... and NOT end up on some mediocre team like Jacksonville who has virtually little chance to do much of anything in the next couple years. A success story ain't gonna happen on a team that is a train wreck from top to bottom like J-ville. I thik you're nuts if you think that if he goes to the Pats, that they will groom him to be Brady's eventual successor in what has t be just a few years away. I think he will be used in much the same fashion he was with the Broncos before Orton lost his job... and the same way he Jets did. (As something other than a regular QB.) Few other teams out there appear to be looking at Tebow as a solution. Best thing for him I think is to play in Canada or something to get those skills up, keep himself on tape, and see if someone will take another chance in two or three years. Jacksonville has got to be getting sick of mediocre Gabbert/Henne types. Why add another? About the only real reason Tebow would have any appeal at all in Jacksonville is because of the Florida fanbase... and even that appears to be tenuous at best. You once told me the fans didn't want him. I didn't believe you until I looked at some of the forums. Some of them made even this forum look gentle.
A statistic measuring past performance used to attempt to predict future performance despite it's ridiculously small sample size. I wonder how that could be nonsense... The article's most ridiculous sentence even contradicts it's/their own logic.
He would switch positions if he went to the Patriots. I am not a "tebow has to play QB or else " fan.
To what position? Is he supplanting Gronk or Hernandez? No. Unless he commits to Full Back 100% I don't see where he fits with the Pats. Brady WILL never allow him or anyone else to take snaps.
hes not going to the patriots, why do you want debate nonsense? why don't we debate what Rex Ryan's next tattoo is going to be if he starts Sanchez in 2013 ... The words "0-16 for life" inside a heart perhaps? or A tattoo on the other arm depicting Sanchez's bare feet maybe?
My scientific argument. Sanchez sucks + Tebow could not beat out Sanchez. = Tebow sucks even more than Sanchez. Conclusion: A goddamned monkey is probably > than either one of them. Why fight over two shitty quarterbacks. It is the offseason, bring in some new blood.
You wouldn't know a scientific argument even if someone walked up and smacked you in the mouth with one. You make rather ignorant presumptions and then take rather stupid positions based on that ignorance. How you take yourself seriously is almost beyond belief, until one understands that you really don't have the capacity to know any better.
right. and you follow around a qb that noone wants and everyone knows sucks except for his traveling jonestown
This is true, Tebow would have gotten us to a respectable record. Rex would not put aside his ego because he loves him some Mark. To what extent only TMZ knows. Tim is no longer a virgin because he got fucked good this year by the Jets. The fact Rex still has a job is why we will always be the SOJ. Sad...
Most people in North Florida are capable of proper English composition. Things like complete sentences, capitalizing the first word in a sentence, and expressing complete thoughts. Good luck there in the 5th grade next year. SF
I see... So by your math... Sanchez sucks. + Tebow not able to beat him or the third stringer out = Tebow kicks too much ass for the jets...
I wouldn't be surprised if he was already getting settled in on another team site in anticipation of Tebow going there. Running a quick search.... EDIT - Holy shit!!! 15 seconds of effort, and he's already at the Jacksonville board lobbying away for Tebow right beside another familiar name from this board. Well, look at the bright side. At least he registered early enough to NOT get called out for joining when Tebow gets picked up... Looks like the J-ville fans are smart enough to have a good handle on the Tebow situation. My presense isn't neccessary there since T-boners look outnumbered like 20 to 1.
