Gamble now will interview for Chargers job Tuesday Brian Costello @BrianCoz ESPN reporting Tom Gamble WILL interview with Chargers on Tuesday. Too much was made if him pushing interview back. It was logistics.
Chargers are an interesting destination -pick his own staff -solid pieces -no pressure to win THIS year or next year -close to where he's established himself the fact is any GM will come here with high expectations from everyone. When teams switch GM's its usually a 3-4 year process before they back in contention. I want Gamble but honestly its a tough sell anyone
One interview doesn't mean he's already decided to go to the Chargers. People are definitely making way too big a deal over speculation. He moved an interview and everyone just buys into it meaning he's hired. Now he schedules an interview with the Chargers and it means he's automatically going there. These are just interviews! The Jets also have other candidates. Meaningless speculation about meaningless reasons about one candidate POSSIBLY not coming to the Jets is meaningless. Gamble has history with Rex, why would him not being able to fire Rex the first year possibly be a reason? No matter where he goes, it's not like he's going to walk into an ideal situation. No team looking for GM had a great year last year. The Chargers are a mess as well.
http://football.realgm.com/src_wire...chargers_to_pick_between_raye_telesco_for_gm/ I think we're good
Gamble is gonna end up in San Diego leading the Jets to missing out on a great GM, Way to bungle this fuckin thing Woody
Again, people wonder why this fanbase has the reputation it has. I'm embarrassed FOR some of you guys.
No way Manziel comes out after next season. He's too small of a prospect to play QB in the NFL anyway. And don't give me that 6'1" shit. Dude is lucky if he's 6'0" even. Too small. Fun to watch at the college level, but he'll probably end up as a backup WR in the NFL.
The keeping Rex Ryan deal is a sticky point. Should have cleaned house , or kept Tanny and tanked next season for a draft pick.
he can still grow maybe an inch hopefully 2 but he'll get a shot at being an NFL QB, his mechanics are Elite and improving
With more and more Jet fans selling there psl's im nervous that Woody is gonna make a push for Vick in another ploy to sell tickets
I'm one of those fans seriously thinking about opting out of our season tickets. I can't tell you how many calls my dad has been getting from the Jets begging us to stay.
I believe Marc Ross is interviewing today to satisfy the Rooney rule. Gamble might as well explore his options.
That's what was I was thinking the whole time watching the Cotton Bowl the other night...... Kid looked great, fun to watch (he's got some wheels) but it's not going to translate to the NFL, especially given his size.
