He would probably be more like a 2nd round pick, maybe even a 1st with how bad this QB class is.

I seen him play a bunch of games. I think he got a bigger Russell Wilson writen all over him.

I've seen most every college game Boyd has played in (Clemson season tix holder and about half the road games). I'd love Boyd as my backup. He tends to get rattled too easily. Granted he's had a lot of good come back victories, but under pressure you'd swear it was Sanchez back there. Great arm and athleticism, but throws waaaay too many picks.

He didn't get rattled at all in LSU bowl game.

It would do him some good waiting another season. He could possibly push his draft stock up to a late first, needs to work in some things.

I wouldn't suggest you judge an entire college career on one game or you will keep drafting talent like Vernon Gholston. Boyd even admitted in an interview that he needs to work on his poise.

Russell Wilson was a better quarerback than Boyd. But Boyd is a little bigger. Wilson was written off by a lot of people at 5'11". Boyd being 6'1" helps him out obviously. He's not a big QB, but I like him as much as any other QB available in this draft, if he does declare.

I was very impressed with him in the LSU game as well. But that is all I have seen, so I will definitely defer to those who have a more complete sample size.

I'm not too high on Boyd. He played in a high octane offense, with 2 of the best WRs in college football. I'd rather have someone like Manuel, who played in a more conservative offense, and still put up good numbers. Having such an explosive offense and talented WRs probably caused defenses to back up, and inflate his short yard numbers.

I think Boyd's value is inflated right now, I wouldn't take him with the first two picks.

Sorry, don't know if this is common knowledge, but has he officially declared?
