If he's going to be a decent GM he owes it to Woody to lay out his plans. And he needs to let Woody know what needs to happen if he is going to stick with Rex as Woody wants. If he interviews with Woody and just tells him everything he thinks he wants to hear, then the carousel just keeps turning.
No you don't have to explain it to me, but thanks though. I'm entitled to my opinion on the topic. You don't know why that tattoo is there, it's all speculation. It could be an inside joke for all we know, he could have lost a bet, nobody knows and really shouldn't care. Rex Ryan is allowed to get ink, it's on a spot that's hidden most of the time anyway, if he got that tattoo on his forehead I would agree with you. He pulled Sanchez...eventually, he's guilty of sticking with him for to long and mishandling him as a QB. All the tattoo shows me is everything he has been saying, he believes (or I guess believed) in Mark Sanchez. He was wrong. End of story.
I wouldn't care if Rex decided to have multiple tattoo's of Sanchez's dick on his forehead as long as he didn't keep starting him at QB. He showed this year that he doesn't have the good judgement to bench/deactivate him, so it will be up to the new GM.
Maybe the new GM will call the mob and order them to smash his legs...that's what you wanted, after all.
Say whatever you want about the tattoo but it's obvious Mark Sanchez should have been benched long before he was. Any HC would have... I find the tattoo funny and ironic because of it.
I question his sanity getting a tattoo of this more than I do his loyalty. It's just weird, that's all I can say/feel about it.
Not so much the tattoo. That stands as a testament to Rex's judgement. My problem that I'm wound up about is the stupidity and lack of vision this franchise has become famous for. Gamble needs to shut down the circus permanently and if that means Ryan has to go, then so be it.
Sorry didn't mean to be obnoxious. I can't stand Rex. It's been one thing after another with him. This tattoo is just the last straw. How can you expect the team to respect you and trust you an impartial decision maker when you have such a tattoo.
What makes you think anyone on the Jets thought that Mark Sanchez wasn't the best QB on the roster and should be the starter? It may well be the 11 sacks suffered by Mcelroy was a message to Ryan by the Jets players?
If you mean that in the bedroom role-playing Rex's wife dresses as Mark Sanchez and he dresses as, well, Coach Ryan on the sideline? Yep, that's arousing all right! I would pay money to get a video of that bedroom game!
