Is it really that big of a deal? He's clearly close with Sanchez and that was his first draft pick. I see no harm, its his body.
This is why I think it was a fake. Looks like she is Tebowing to me. Some people on here suggest he might have had that for a few years now, but this is the first time anyone has actually seen it and said anything about it. There is no evidence that he had it prior to his vacation. I am certain this is a troll job by Rex... a damn funny one too judging from the reaction it is getting.
So...did anyone notice that in the tattoo, his wife is Tebowing? Excuse me if someone else already posted that, but I'm not reading 17 pages on this. Rex Ryan did nothing wrong here. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if it was fake. Edit: And it was only a couple posts ago that someone mentioned the Tebowing. Yes, she definitely is Tebowing.
as a rival fan , i think Rex is awesome.it's like a big FU to the stuffed shirt establishment of the nfl..albeit Rex has some whacked out ways of showing it, cut him lose and hopefully BB can find a spot on his staff Rex... he can get a new tat with his wife holding the lombardi trophy in a pats shirt
CIMINI already reported as real and done a years ago but I'm running with the fake thing because its impossible for me to realize this is real.
Couple things: -Is this TMZ or sports beat writers? This is what covering the Jets has come to for them, to stalk Rex in the Bahamas instead of you know discussing that hole at GM? -Also our own beat writers didn't know Rex had a tattoo like this, Hard Knocks never caught it, nobody ever saw it before, and our own beat writers had no idea Rex went to the Bahamas? What exactly do our beat writers do and cover if they aren't on top of football analysis and aren't on top of this TMZ stuff? -ESPN had "Rex Tattoo" scrolling at the bottom of the screen and according to their sources, Rex has had that tattoo for years now. -Putting your fist on your forehead wasn't invented by Tebow contrary to popular belief. -This is stupid. Should I care about this? Because to be honest, I could care less.
People think you should care, because they see this as a clue as to the underlying reason Sanchez wasn't pulled when the Jets could easily have done so at any point through most of the season and been justified to do so. Especially for a guy some actually believe could have gotten the Jets to the playoffs. these people truly believe there is some sort of a conspiracy in place that kept Tebow from starting.... and it had little to do with any abilities or lack therof he might have demonstrated in practice. If this IS true, (and I am seriously doubting it) then every Jet fan SHOULD care.
Again, why? It's a tattoo of his wife (from a few years according to ESPN) wearing a green jersey (no logo) with a number 6 (no name). Oh man so worrisome. I could care less and because I 100% believe that this random tattoo doesn't influence his football decisions.
That's only in your head. Its a terrible judgement call by a leader of ANY organization. A boss does not mark himself permanently with a visage of an employee that other employees have to battle with for the same job AS A MINIMUM. This has ZERO to do with the unmentionable one. I'll say this again, you can pick out people in this thread that have executive thinking and those who do not and can never lead and manage a large group of people (competently) . Its actually a wonderful test.
