Coples on it. Really turned out to be a pretty good pick.

Right? I hate ESPN. Why pay for that shit? I'm a sports die-hard junkie, and even I haven't considered it.

Coples can take half the plays off and still end up with about 10 sacks. He's that good. I watch him and i see him being a big time player for us for a long time.

I don't understand how "Melvin Ingram could be in the conversation" for OLB in this article.

One of the few dim spots on the team this year. Probably the only area that will be an outstanding strength for years to come based on the personnel and how they've played so far.

Wilkerson and Coples duo might shine bright next year. Top 5 defense with Revis being back is what I am looking for.

Coples is gonna be a beast next season, im predicting between him and Wilkerson they will have over 17 sacks

Why did he pick somebody so lazy for his All-Rookie team? Kiper sucks

Coples was an outstanding pick but can you imagine how different this team would've been if Doug Martin was picked? Sanchez could finish the season without being benched & offense would actually have playmaker on it.

This draft is gonna be talked about for years. So many players here look like potential HOF players to me.

I have extremely high hopes for Ellis as well, if he can stay healthy.

Funny how Coples is on here but not Chandler Jones. Where are the Pats fans that thought this was a horrific pick?

I imagine they're in the same place as all the Jets fans who called Jones a project pick, and that he won't help until his third year. Realistically, if Jones hadn't gotten hurt he would be on this team, and in the discussion for DROY.

Moral of the story: both teams did well with their first pick, is that so hard to admit?

Truth. Just had to take a dig a Pats fans (and Jets fans who hated the pick due to him being 'lazy' which was unfounded). When he was drafted there were a bunch of Pats posters here ridiculing the pick. Prob the only clean shot I get at Pats fans this yr given our season, so I'm gonna be a child and take it :)

Would have like to have seen Stephen Hill's name on the list. Not that I expected it now, but you would have thought that after the 1st game vs Buffalo, he was a shoo-in. Durability with Hill is certainly a concern.

If there is anything I realized from this past draft is that its well worth it to take fliers in the 6th or 7th round on PROVEN college players like Alfonso Dennard & Vontaze Burflict. Even w/their documented lousy, lazy attitudes and criminal incidents, ---- its well worth the risk. Our braintrusts decided to address the O-line & go w/Robert T. Griffin instead. At least we got Antonio Allen.

Coples was a great pick and way better this year than Ingram
