Expecting a bit to change this week
i dont think joeckel is there for us in the first round, maybe mathews but not joeckel. also i think ezekiel anash will fly up draft boards after the combine and will be a first round pick
Yeah top 10 a lot can happen between now and the draft Were right on the cusp where its hard to tell who will fall to us
quick list First Round 1) Chance Warmack G, Bama 2) Luke Joeckel T, Texas AM 3) Jake Mathews T, Texas AM 4) Jarvis Jones OLB, Georgia (if medicals clear, but I have a feeling he'll be long gone if they do) 5) Hope for a trade back 2nd Round 1) DJ Fluker T, Bama 2) Gio Bernard RB UNC 3) Barrett Jones, G/C Bama 4) Tyler Wilson, QB ARK 5) Ricky Wagner, OT, Wisconsin 3rd Round 1) Bacarri Rambo, S Georgia 2) William Gholston, DE Mich ST 3) Honey Badger, DB/PR LSU
Le'Veon Bell... would he be a good option for us at RB? Taller backs usually don't fair to well career wise because db's dive for their legs. Also I say we take a shot on Honey Badger and add depth to the CB department and he is First round talent.
is a dude that constantly smokes weed and has no sense of moral code worth spending a pick on when we already have a deep secondary?
Same situation happened with Janoris Jenkins and he is up for defensive rookie of the year. Its college kids smoke weed thats just the facts . Im not saying take him early if he is around the later rounds go after him. Just like we could of went after Vontaze Burfict and we didnt and he was a UDFA. We ended up getting rid of half our picks anyway. Just take a chance on him... Our Secondary maybe deep but it can always get better and the better the secondary where we can play alot of man will result in more sacks.
Lemonier will go in the 2nd. Ansah and Montgmery will go in the first and Porter will go int he third. Round 1 - Manti Te'o (ILB, Notre Dame) - Chance Warmack (OG, Alabama) - Jarvis Jones (OLB, Georgia) - Bjoern Werner (DE, Florida St) Round 2 - Gio Bernard (RB, North Carolina) - Larry Warford (OG, Kentucky) - Chase Thomas (OLB, Stanford) - Zack Ertz (TE, Stanford) - Matt Elam (S, Florida) Round 3 - Philip Thomas (S, Fresno St) - Dion Sims (TE, Michigan St) - Markus Wheaton (WR, Oregon St) - Montee Ball (RB, Wisconsin) - Stepfan Taylor (RB, Stanford) - Shariff Floyd (DT, Florida) Round 4 - Quinton Patton (WR, Louisana Tech) - Alvin Bailey (OT, Arkansas) - Trevardo Williams (OLB, Connecticut) - Marcus Lattimore (RB, South Carolina) - Gabe Jackson (OG, Mississppi St) top 15 for the rest of the rounds (no order) - Malliciah Goodman (DE, Clemson) - Margus Hunt (DE, SMU) - Conner Vernon (WR, Duke) - Philip Lutzenkirchen (TE, Auburn) - Tyrann Mathieu (CB, LSU (formerly)) - Michael Mauti (ILB, Penn St) - Kyle Long (OT, Oregon) - Kenjon Barner (RB, Oregon) - Ryan Nassib (QB, Syracuse) - Quanterus Smith (DE, Western Kentucky) - Alonzo Highsmith (OLB, Arkansas) - Michael Clay (OLB, Oregon) - Spencer Long (OG, Nebraska) - Tavarres King (WR, Georgia) - Devin Taylor (DE, South Carolina)
it sucks because he was one of my favorites for the Jets, but he will only benefit from staying his senior year. bright future for Jake.
wouldnt mind a oline of Dbrick Warmack mangold jones fluker ALABAMA line is nasty and would make ours amazing
First round 1) Werner, DE 43, Florida State 2) Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia 3) Manti Te'o, MLB, Notre Dame 4) Barkevious Mingo, OLB, LSU 5) Chance Warmack, G, Alabama Second Round 1) Sam Montgomery, 43 DE, LSU 2) Eric Reid, S, LSU 3) Giovanni Bernard, RB, UNC 4) Mike Glennon, QB, NC State 5) Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas Later Rounds(just 5 guys I like in no particular order) 1) Bacarri Rambo- Safety, Georiga 2) Tyrann Mathieu- CB/PR, LSU 3) Ryan Otten- TE, San Jose State 4) Markus Wheaton- WR, OSU 5) Landry Jones- QB, Oklahoma
Id almost put money on Sam Montgomery not being around in the second round, same goes for Ansah. Also if Hurst is drafted at all I would be shocked, he quit the team and I dont know if the little he did this year warrants a draft selection especially above 5
Some guys I like so far: RB: Dennis Johnson, Andre Ellington, Rex Burkhead, Eddie Lacey, Kenjon Barner WR: Robert Woods, Cordarrelle Patterson, DaRick Rogers, Justin Hunter, Kenny Stills DEF: Alec Ogletree, Star Lotulelei, Kenny Tate, Tyrann Mathieu
THIS /\ I would absolutely love this, and then put in a quarterback and a shifty running back who would just sit back for days
