Always has been. That and the fact that you lose control of your own desires. If, for some reason in the future, I decide I can't go to any more Jets games for a while, I can't drop out. Well, yes I can, but not without losing my PSL. I'll be God Damned if I'll pay sombody a fee for the right to sell me some tickets. Certainly I root for them to WIN but what makes us different is I am not deluded into a false sense of whom they are winners when they are losers because I assess the quality of the players & coaches with my head & not my heart.
