guys like Brady or Manning would have more success obviously but we weren't a playoff team no matter who was under C
a question is not an answer. I will take your refusal to answer it as admittance that your criteria has no merit. I will answer for you -- only two. Montana and Brady. Not winning as much as Montana and Brady does not diminish Manning's success. or perhaps you can answer this simpler question -- how many all time great QB's only have 1 Super Bowl Championship?
all time greats w/ 3 SBs or AFL/NFL titles(pre SB): Brady 3 Aikman 3 Montana 4 Luckman 5 Graham 7 Layne 3 Starr 5 Unitas 3 Bradshaw 4 That's a lot of guys and again it's not about just winning championships, how many great QBs had a losing record in postseason?
Norv Turner as OC would be perfect but Rex has to conceed this ground and pound as a way to win. Rex also has to let Norv pick his own players on O. Rex also has to stop guessing about the draft and let the experts make the picks (Scouts and GM) with him only to make sugestions and to keep his mouth shut. Rex is on a thin line. Woody only needs to pay up and not make any player decissions what so ever period. This is a QB driven league and the ground and pound is a dead dinasour.
Rex Ryan. I remember a time where Bill Belichick didn't hire a DC to call plays defensively, yet still handled the HC duties. Rex should handle all defensive duties (play-calling, practice, etc) as well as be the HC. His input will be very small offensively, but I'm sure he'll have some information to share. Rex will continue to be the voice of the team, which I have no issue with. Players want to play for Rex, but they can also be part of a good offensive system with Norv Turner
