For those who might have missed it & while Greeny is certainly no expert he did predict that season 2013 for the NYJs will be worse then season 2012 was
that will do it, someone who knows less than you about football says we are done in 2013. We might as well ask Goodell to cancel the season.
As if Mike Francesa wasn't clownish enough, now we have to pay attention to some meat-head former lineman and a Chris Russo lookalike?
Well if Woody can keep the money for the tix yes U have a terrific idea. As for FB brain before the 2012 season began I said 6-10 & tell us all what was our final 2012 record? Enuf said & as I said you are another one who requires deprogramming by a MD & I again suggest we get a fund going so U have the money to afford it. Until U attend that deprogramming program anything U post has zero value due to your man love for the NYJs
Duh I was only the messenger so if you dislike what Greeny said tweet him at his Twitter account:sad:
If John Skelton oh I mean Mark buttfumble Suckchaze is the starting QB then it might in fact be a bad season.
The only way 2013 is worse than 2012 from a record standpoint is if the Jets fire Rex Ryan and do an all-out rebuild with the new regime in place. That's the 2-14 scenario and I don't think we're going to get that at this point. There's no QB in the 2014 draft right now that would make a gut rehab season worth the cost in fan support and sales. Add in the fact that Woody will not want the Jets at the bottom of the heap during the MetLife Super Bowl season and I think the odds are really low that we see rock bottom next year.
1) have you ever predicted better than 6-10? 2) you really need to stop listening to media talking heads, especially Mike and Mike. or if u do listen, do so with a grain of salt. There is absolutely no informed way to predict the Jets record for next year. Don't even know what the offense will look like yet (OC, QB, Oline, WR/RB, TE......all likely in for changes). Or Rex could get canned, which the media seems to want. I don't see how an unproven or has-been coach improves the record though. Need to address talent, especially on offense. Then start prediction talk..
Good, because I don't want Greeny ever saying anything positive about the NYJs ever. If it gets us closer to Teddy Bridgewater then fine by me. Would love to see that kid in Green / White
Hey I just passed on what was aired by ESPN instead of flaming me who was only the MESSENGER flame Greeny directly thru his Twitter account. Oh yes at this moment based on what we need from HC, to coaches, to players I agree with Greeny's assessment of the 2013 NYJs
No. You are posting this to doom and gloom. His statement has no background. It's just a sentence he uttered. If people started threads every time someone said the Jets won't have a good season, the internet would crash.
I predicted 8-8 this season and revised down a couple of games after the injuries. Despite the tremendous dsyfunction and awful QB and HC, with Holmes and Revis back,it gives them a chance to be a little better than 6-10. That being said, the Jets aren't playing in a vaccuum if the teams they're playing improve then the Jets record could get worse. Either way it dosn't take a genius to see the Jets will be a bad team with no chance of seeing the playoffs. The biggest problem next year will be the QB, if they can't bring in a Matt Flynn or similar FA their record could be significantly worse than this season.
Stop posting BS as I thought it was against the rules to post untruthful posts like the one that one U just posted. U should ban yourself for a week for your transgression
So any owner who does not want to hit rock bottom at any point is an unfit steward for an NFL team? My point on next year is that it is a season in which the Jets will particularly not want to bottom out given there is no Andrew Luck or Eli Manning sitting as the obvious 1 pick at this point and the season will hold unusual pressures for a NY area team.
