Romo and Rivers are both known for choking - especially at the most crucial point of the game. They cannot thrive with pressure.

That said, Nacho can't even choke. His team is almost always losing.

Because we currently do not have a starting calibre QB on our roster and Romo would be a huge upgrade over what we have. A change of scenery argument could be made for Romo to stop choking in key moments. I think he never was able to live down his botched FG hold in the playoffs in Dallas.

That argument wouldn't explain (or justify) a switch from Dallas to New York.

Good chance one or both will be available. Both want to go in a new direction. I think we could get one of them. Is Jerry Jones going to give his 32 year old qb that hasn't led his team anywhere a contract extension? I doubt it. Is he going to sit on him another year, and let him hit free agency? I doubt it. I bet Cowboys kick Romo out somehow and draft a QB.

Do the new coach and new GM of the 31 year old declining Philip Rivers think he is the right QB for the Chargers? With the lack of talent they have on that roster, it's illogical to keep him.

I'm not sure what I am willing to give for one of them. But you better believe that they are available and the Jets are interested and listening.

Jets fans are amazing, they're too good for Tony Romo? Same fans who poo pooed any talk of going after Peyton Manning. But they'll talk up Sanchez like he put the team on his shoulders and lit the league on fire on his way to back to back AFCCG's.

We don't need him to carry our team like he does there. He could come here and throw for a 65% comp 4300 yards and 28/15 td:int and I think we are a 10-12 win team. The defense is what will carry this team just like it has for the last four years. Romo will score points and move the ball.

You keep mixing the names of Romo, Rivers, Brady, Brees and Manning into a common stream of thought. It's actually starting to frustrate me.

BTW, if anyone is still currently talking up Sanchez they need to be put down.

why the he'll would a team take on Sanchez and his overpriced salary rather than just keep their 4th ir 5th round pick and get a qb just as good for no money. just f'ing stupid.

Really a guy like Tony Romo is leaps and bounds better than what we have and I'd take the shot of him not choking in key moments with new surroundings.

Big Ben gets a ton of credit for being known for extending plays, but Romo is excellent at it as well.

I would imagine it's because you have poor reading comprehension as I've brought them up while making wildly divergent points in separate posts, if you're lumping them all together into one thought that's your issue not mine. Not sure what to say, go read the posts again, they're quite simple to grasp.

Rivers is an amazing QB who has hit a rough stretch in the past 2 seasons, and his decline really has to do with a lack of talent around him. Matthews has never developed into a successor to LT, they lost Vincent Jackson his #1 WR in the offseason, if the Jets can get him in a trade I will cry tears of joy.

It could be that my reading comprehension is poor but after painfully re-reading your posts I've come to the conclusion you're a sarcastic dipshit, who has little to say, so opts to say very little in many words.

Brady and Manning are also arguably the 2 Best QBs in the history of the sport...

Doesn't change the fact that Rivers is a pro bowl caliber QB. He has had a rough past two years but his overall QB rating is 94.5 regardless. Rivers on this team with our D would be heavenly compared to what we have been subjected to the past two years.

That's because comparing Rivers or Romo to Brady and Manning is ridiculous.

"Elite" or not, Romo is a top 10 QB in the NFL, plain and simple.

Yes, he's struggled in big games, but remember: you're only a "choker" until you're not. You didn't see the Colts trade Peyton Manning back when he couldn't buy a win in Foxboro, and you won't see the Cowboys get rid of Romo now.

Maybe the word elite is used not in the right way in regards to QBs. To me, Brady and Manning are elite. Rivers and Romo are just very good QBs.

agreed. I think Rivers at one point could be considered an elite QB, but he's on the down slide. Romo is what he is. He's very good. Always was and currently is.
