Holgrem (HC), Turner (OC) and new blood at GM. Keep Petite (DC) for continuity and say goodbye to Sparano and Rex. We would instantly have upgraded our offense without adding a single player and got a coach who can keep control of a locker room.

I can dream can't I? Add Rivers, minus Sanchez and I would be having an awesome dream.

sounds good but it really seems that the Jets are going to stick with Rex. I don't hate it. I think Rex needs a new supporting cast around him and they need to infuse a new figure into the player core to lead the team.

Cause he's proven to be a better coach.

You do this without even thinking about it. Holmgren is an offensive wiz. If the Jets are serious about getting this thing right then they'll be all over him. Hell maybe Rex even stays on as DC which is his real position anyway.

Wanted to make an avatar to show black monday and Tranny, but came up with this instead. Pissed Rex has no idea as a HC and Woody does whatever he wants anyways.

But I thought Rex hardly has any say in personnel matters? It was Mistah T who handled that part of the business. The Rex Ryan nut nibblers were telling me this yesterday. How dare you contradict them with a very funny avatar. :)

Just because he said it doesn't make it true. Show me an article or anything that supports him.

He would never go for that. Rex as DC would be more likely.

I bet holmgrem , reid and now i am hearing even jon gruden . Want back in at coaching. That arizona and cleveland job looks a lot better then the jets. That's why I think woody is holding out on firing rex.

Gruden and reid both like arizona because they are a QB from being elite.

The jets are a mess cap wise so why would any top notch guy wanna come here.

The only thing I think is gonna happen is woody gets turned down by all the etop coaches. So he is gonna keep rex.

no top GM wants the mess tanny made. So I think it's gonna be a no name guy who wants a gm job bad enough that if he turns us around . Then he will get all the credit.

    Prediction:

woody fails at getting Ried or gruden to coach and stays with rex.

woody also fails at getting a top notch GM , so he gets the best assistant GM he can find.

Our new GM hires norv turner because norv is gonna want a shot at our coaching position if rex gets canned.

We bring in a qb from the draft in the 1-3 round. maybe our 4th.Oh wait . We lost our 4th for tebow. Thanks tanny.

We bring in a free agent qb to compete with mark, pick and F.A.

How exactly does waiting to fire Rex increase the Jets' chances of getting a good (or better) coach?

Arizona has one of the league's worst O-Lines (when healthy).

If you're argument about Rex being a terrible coach is correct, then a healthy Jets team with a good coach is playoff-worthy.

So he's not "holding out" on firing Rex?

Are you saying that people who currently aren't GM's in the NFL aren't qualified to be GM's (or aren't the best GM candidates)? That's just ridiculous.

But I thought no good coach would ever want to coach the Jets, you must be arguing that Norv isn't a good HC.

Why....? I know this is a prediction, but why???

So your prediction is that the Jets will bring in 2 QB's (plus McElroy) to have 3 QB's compete against Sanchez? Genius. /sarcasm
