Jets were in 12th place before today's loss to Buffalo.

Moved up 3 spots with a Titan, Bucs & Bolt wins.

Looks like San Diego is Golden, but the Cardinals are proving their the Cardinals.

The Cards may take a QB just before the Jets are OTC...which is OK with me.

Are you sure? I could be mistaken but I think our SOS is higher than the Bills and titans, of course I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure since Arizona loses we're at #10. But that said I could be mistaken.

Even with a Bills win and both at 6-10, they draft before us.

We need a Card win to draft 8th...it ain't happening.

By the way I'm hoping I'm wrong and we're #9, it's very possilbe I plugged some incorrect numbers somewhere when I figured SOS projections.

Exactly, and i'm pretty sure the Titans will draft before us as well, also at 6-10, as they had a weaker SOS than the Jets, assuming again that I had the SOS figured properly, and that would put the Jets at #10 pick...again I hope I'm wrong, but fairly certain I'm not....well as certain as one can be when plugging in numbers at 4am.

Actually, I'd need to rerun the numbers because a couple of team lost that I projected to win and would have to compare those differences to the Titans SOS. and also possibly adjust the Jets SOS because of that as well..so Maybe, just maybe we do eek in ahead of the Titans....But I'm too tired to plug the numbers tonight....

Never mind, I just replugged the Titans numbers and i was off on their SOS, my bad. Forget I said anything....ha ha

I've never been so happy to be wrong in my life.

But at least I can make one claim to semi fame, at least I had projected the jets at #9 :D, though I had Arizona and the Titans reversed on the final draft order, and the browns picking one slot too late.

Teo, Jones, Smith, or the best WR in the draft. Gotta be one there for us.

    I don't think Te'o will be available.

Not too much to select on offensive playmakers, but a few solid O-Lineman will be available.

I agree, I don't think Teo will make it out of the top 5 or 6 picks at the lowest. Unless he gets arrested or something between now and draft day (unlikely).

I don't think there are any tackles that will make it to 9 that are that much better than what will be there at 15 or 20. could be wrong, but I suspect we'll see two or 3 OT's off the board by pick 8.

I'm not that hot on Jones anymore, the neck thing scares me a little too much for a top 10 pick, especially with defenders in the NFL now having to make sure they hit low and are suffering more head and neck damage than before the rule changes (wonderful example of Newton's law of motion "For every action there must be an equal and opposite reaction, save the QB's and WR from injury but increase the concussion and neck injury risk to defenders.) But I digress, again.

I'm not a true draftnik or draft guru, just simply stating my thoughts on the matter.

IMO, you have a good pulse of our draft situation.

I think the only OT that will be off the board will be Joeckel. So, Lewan & Matthews should be available.
