I thought it was more off field issues. I don't think the kid is dumb, he just makes poor choices.

He got eaten alive against good teams (Alabama, Georgia, Florida), but Tennessee was pretty shitty. His erratic throws concern me. I watched the game against Vanderbilt last month, and he was atrocious.

That's why I really think we have to sure up the offensive line. It all starts in the trenches.

Sanchez was ruined in years 3 and 4, not in years 1 or 2.

1st round has to be either that beast guard chance womack or 1 of the 3 tackles cause I like them all.
2nd. ryan nassib or ryan nassib or nassib.
3rd shayne Skov, monte ball, or tyrann mathieu.
4th went to sell tickets by trading for tebow.

Can't the Jets find a QB who comes from a school where the weather is crap like in NY? I don't want a southern QB.

Sorry but you don't know what you are talking about. He's not slow and will be the best defensive player in the draft

What's the infatuation around here for Nassib? He has a good arm, but he's terrible under pressure, he forces throws, and his touch is questionable. Additionally, they list him at 6'2, and I've read he is more like 6'0-6'1.

He has red flags, dont get me wrong. But he is better than Smith and Barkley imo.

And as a second rounder, I am all over this kid.

How was he "ruined" they took off the training wheels and let him take over and he failed. He has never been a good QB in his career. Even in '10 which was his best season he wasn't good.

UT had it coming, all their players were destined to have the worst day of their careers coming into Nashville with Dumbass Dooley on the sideline. ATFD.

Sucky part about this draft is that these guys will go WAY earlier than they should, and that is really scary for a team like the Jets that need to rebuild.

Bray, Nassib, Glennon, Dysert, Wilson- In my opinion, none of them are worth anything better than round 4 (on a normal draft).

    Smith, Barkley- Round 2-3 talent

Intelligent post. Seems out of place on TGG at the end of the season.

    so a cold weather QB

I've been "scouting" Brett Smith Wyoming Sophomore 6'3 200

Needs some more weight but reminds me of a bigger Russell Wilson. Great arm, mobility, makes every throw, great footwork and pocket presence.

He's one of my favorite prospects in the next couple years

You're comparing Sanchez to Warner, a future HOF'er? Warner was good from Day 1 once starting in the NFL. You have no clue what you're talking about. Just come out and say you still think Sanchez is a capable starter because you're basically saying he was ruined by the Jets development of him and not placing the bulk of the blame on him. What makes you think he's just going to magically regain his confidence or make a drastic improvement going into Year 5? Not happening. I'm way past this conversation as I'm already thinking about the Jets next QB for 2013, you should too.

Sanchez needs to play for the Iowa Barnstormers, he is right about that.

Kurt Warner was 26/27 before he made an appearance in the NFL after being undrafted and waived - I assume he was undrafted and waived because no team anywhere thought he would be a viable 1st, 2nd, or 3rd string QB. He then, after 5 years outside of the NFL - against the odds and popular belief, became an NFL QB.

What don't you get about that?
