Now, I would prefer Norv, but if that doesnt work out, Gailey brings the advantage of knowing the division.

    Just putting it out there.

And knowing the division is clearly the key to succeeding as an offensive coordinator. Just ask Sparano!

What is up with wanting all these scrubs? Norv and now Gailey? If you start over you go with new blood or you go with people that come from successful franchises. Neither of these fit the bill. Pass!

Would rather have Cam Cameron than Chan.

Do you really want Gailey running our offense who fails to utilize its best player? Spiller might set an NFL record with yards per carry, but no one would notice cause he barely touches the ball.

Norv has a track record of being an excellent OC, so you're off base on this.

Let's put it this way. If the Jets had their first choice of who they wanted as their OC it would be Bruce Arians and then everyone else. He may not be available though. I'm sure the Colts will lock him up for a long time and give him huge money.

You can't just ignore how much Norv Turner's teams have underperformed in SD as well as other stops, excellent OC or not.

I'll admit that his track record as an OC is good but his awful HC track record dampers that a bit IMO.

hes not going to be a head coach

his track record as a HC has nothing to do with him being a top OC

And that's what we said about Sparano going into this season. How did that work out?

I'm fine with Turner but he wouldn't be my first choice.

C'mon man, where was gailey before he was hired by the bills? There was a reason he was on his farm in Texas, and the bills were stupid for hiring him and now you want the jets to double down on their stupid decisions?

Gailey, has actually (like Norv) been a successful coordinator.

And Joe Gibbs was a HOF HC in the 80's and early 90's. When he came back in the 2000's he was pedestrian at best.

You can't base it solely off what these guys did years ago. Their most current resumes have to play into the decision as well. Norv with SD and Gailey with Buffalo.

Your last sentence makes my case. He isn't being hired as a HC; its an OC which he has excelled at.

Right, and for at least two years, he's been studying the division. Sparano has never excelled on this role, which is why it was him and Haley, and someone balked.

And the post game is disgusting.

My eyes just exploded. I'm typing in brail. I would rather Mr. Johnson take a giant shit, freeze it, dress it up in a little suit, and make Turdy McPooperson our new OC.

When was the last time that Gailey was a successful coordinator? 2001 with Miami?

His last stint as a coordinator sure didn't end well -- an awful 2008 campaign, followed by Todd Haley shitcanning him 3 games into the 2009 preseason.

In the present, the Bills offense badly struggles to utilize all of its weapons (although a lot of the blame there should go to Fitzpatrick -- then again, he wouldn't have a good QB with the Jets, either.)
