    Sad thing is we didn't have to hope for Sanchez to have a bad game cause you just kind of knew it was going to happen anyway.

    Rooting for a player doesn't make them good or bad... Mark Sanchez SUCKS and that's all that matters.

    It's a sad day. I really hoped Sanchez would be the franchise QB the NYJ have been starving for all these years.

    I'm SO HAPPY he's making his release a no brainer.
    There's no way on earth Woody is going to accept another year of this.
    I'd bet my balls this disaster is off the roster on June 1st.

    Just LOOK at him play.
    And look how terrified the Jets are, to actually let him throw the ball.
    It's unreal.

    If the Jets lose today and several other games break right, the Jets could have a top-10 pick. I don't necessarily want Sanchez to fail but a jets loss today is in the best interest of the organization long term

    I never had to hope if Sanchez wouldn't be terrible, he just had to be average and make a few throws here and there and let the defense do the rest.... but he just continues to show that he is not a franchise QB constantly turning the ball over to the other team like a rookie...having him here for another year because of his contract would be a waste of time...because Rex will probably be back for one more year and still believe that this guy gives the JETS the best chance to win!!!

    Maybe you can take your eyes and read the cap hit the Jets take if they cut Sanchez, then use that common sense to figure out the rest.
