    Ugh!!!!!!

    Watching this game with my buddy at a Bills bar. Every fan here called a screen. Apparently that is their "draw on 3rd and long" go to. Makes me wonder why the Jets seemed shocked to see it.

    I've watched enough football to refrain from making these types of absolute statements. Not too long ago many thought Alex Smith was not a starter in the league. Under the right circumstances and given enough time anything is possible. Prior to the recent trend of young QBs coming in and having immediate success, QB development took some time. Gannon's development timeline was the norm for "non-elite" QBs. While age 30 usually signaled the start of NFL players' decline, it was for many years when QBs started to "get it" and things began to slow down for them.

    It may be a matter of interpretation. He talks about Sanchez's inconsistent footwork (which is fixable) and his lost of confidence (which can be regained). I don't see it the way you do.
