    Those numbers sound very Sanchezian. I'm thinking in the same ballpark.

    Not commenting on who should start today against Buffalo, clearly not McElroy with the concussion. The remark was made in reference to those that still defend Sanchez as a good QB who "led" the Jets to the playoffs in back to back years, yadda yadda yadda.

    I wasn't a fan of Sanchez when the Jets chose him, I felt he was under experienced and needed at least a year in development riding the pine behind a veteran QB. And there were lots of questions about his ability to read defenses and recognize coverages.

    I wouldn't go that far, Sanchez is better than anything the Cardinals have at QB...but that's about it.

    That depends on what your qualification as to successful is. If it's Trent Dilfer then I'd agree with you, if it's being a league average QB then your probably in for a disappointment. The fact is, good receivers, good line, or bad recievers, bad line, Sanchez is horrible at reading coverages, he's slow to see plays develope, he's consistantly late delivering the ball and he's often very inaccurate with his throws. I sometimes think receivers drop the easy catches in their chest because they're shocked the ball was on target.

    But they wouldn't look to acquire a proven worthless qb. They've failed with a group of unknowns.

    The JETS have 3 shitty QBs........ 1 has a concussion, 1 obviously gives the CS no faith that he can run the offense, and 1 has contract that makes him extremely difficult to release...... they're playing the one they can't axe.

    I'm really torn. Part of me wants Sanchez to do well today, so that his trade value (currently < 0) is increased and we have a better chance of finding some sucker GM to take him off of our hands. However, another part of me greatly fears the awesome ineptitude of the Jets organization and is worried the Jets will give him a 10-year contract extension off of an even average performance.

    Yep, there's no doubt about it. And if he throws 2 or 3 nice balls in the middle of throwing 10 or 15 shitty balls then you will hear the apologists say that he's got potential because there were a few good throws in there. It's mind boggling at this point.

    That would be classic, if he played so bad that even the Bills fans booed/laughed him off the field.

    You clearly have an agenda that's personally which is clouding your ability to rationally look at the game. It's hard for me to believe that you are really this clueless about the game.

    That's like saying Sanchez would be a better RT or LG then Vladamir Ducasse simply becuase Vladimir Ducasse sucks at RT and LG.

    I don't know about you but i'd take Kevin Kolb over Sanchez. Plus Sanchez=Skelton, I'll give you Lindley though.

    The geniuses who want Sanchez out are the same ones who insisted that ANYBODY was better than Schottenheimer. How'd that work out, smart-asses ???

    BINGO! Couldn't have said it better.

    Our fans understandably are disappointed but lets put the reality goggles back on.

    Skelton =/= Sanchez. Get real...

    You want to call it like it is, then do so. Sanchez has had a shitty year on a team that was equally shitty. I doubt you know much about Skelton if you are saying he is on the same page as Sanchez, and Sanchez is doing everything humanly possible to let us know that he blows.

    No. Most of the people who blame the OC are Sanchez fans. I'd rather have Peyton Manning with Schottenheimer than Mark Sanchez with Norv Turner. to me the OC is irrelevant. Get me a good QB first then I'll worry about the OC.

    Nailed it. There's a reason why QB's are the future of any NFL franchise. An OC is important but not nearly as important as a franchise QB. Some on here have it all twisted.
