I was going to say it's impossible to predict what Woody would do because his decisions aren't based on common sense. But after reading this I'd say this sounds the most plausible.

This thread is about predicting what Woody WILL do. Not commenting on people who disagree w/you about what Woody SHOULD do. w/all due respect, do you understand the difference?

Since I've joined here, he has been making consistently absurd posts. Either he's a tick off in the head or intentionally doing it to troll and draw out reactions. I make it my policy to try to ignore or not take seriously anything he says. If you're looking to engage someone in a serious discussion he's not the one you want to do with.

GM's often don't have hire/fire on the head coach. Their opinion is listened to but many owners hire and fire all of the people at the top of the management chains in their organization. That includes the head coach.

I don't think Woody is going to sign up for the public humiliation that hiding under a pile of coats in the corner would bring. I think he's going to go the other way and hire a well-respected GM so that the vibe around the Jets all season in the run-up to the MetLife Super Bowl is positive instead of *giggle* *giggle* look at what the Jets did to themselves this time.
Like I said in another thread, there's always those fans who no matter what will go down with a sinking ship. To them, if you're not willing to sink to the bottom of the ocean with your team then you're not a true fan. That's how AbdulSalam thinks. And yes, he's serious.
do you think a well respected gm will come in and not be given the chance to hire his own people? i know if i were a gm the last guy i would want to walk into a job having to deal with is rex. while a great coach he brings so many annoyances and things that respected gms just dont want to deal with.
If he's a great coach, wouldn't a GM want to keep him? Especially when there aren't many other quality guys jumping up and down to become a coach.
