We'll take him in Miami and hopefully utilize him better than Sanchize did. He had insane measurables coming out of college. 4.53 and 38" vert. Not Vernon Davis numbers but better than Aaron Hernandez. He'll be good for Tannehill's development I believe.

You guys crack me up, complain about the lack of receivers then want to cut the 1st or 2nd most productive receiver in each season up till this year. Granted he's not a hall of fame tight end, but there are ALOT of worse tight ends.

Eric Smith has a better chance of being franchised...

Logical landing spot. I saw Washington mentioned in some places too.

Either way, he's the most uncoordinated athletic player I've ever seen. It's amazing how many times he just falls when trying to make a move.

I didn't even know that fool was still on the team.

He is on my list of players that need to go, forgot being franchised.

I didn't say vet minimum was what he was going to get. I said it was the right price for the Jets.

This doesn't work because the Jets will wind up paying him the tag price to play next season and they don't have the cap room to do that.

He will go on to have a productieve career in another teams colors. Its just the way it is as a Jets fan. Then we will all say how we should have signed him blah, blah, blah. Truth be told, the NYJ's can draft ok, they just suck at developing said picks!

If he hits the market the pats will pick him up and add to their TE collection.

What if it's a franchise tag, trade and then resign to an actual deal from the team looking to acquire Keller? Some team will pay for him surely.

I remember the Jets drafting Jonny Mitchell and Kyle Brady back to back. I thought they were nuts. Who knew they were ahead of their time, and just sucked at drafting.

I honestly dont understand the hate for dustin keller. Whether some if you like him or not, he has been the only consistent target (in terms if being here) that this team has had. He was asked a question and he answered it.

With that said, I hope he signs for a deal around 3 years with 9-10 million.

The Pats don't over pay for players.

This is our opportunity to rectify the mistake made in the 2008 draft when we traded back into the first round to pick Keller. When we could have stayed put and picked up Fred Davis in the second. Let Keller walk and sign Davis. Davis is coming off an injury he should have a cheaper than he would otherwise.

would be happy to see keller and sanchez go, but i have a feeling both of them will flourish elsewhere. i think there's nothing we can do about it, though. we will just have to eat it. unfortunately. they're both done in ny.

Keller is average, not great, but he thinks he is pro bowl material and wants too much for his worth. Let him try FA coming off this year where he only played a handful of games. If he's still out there in August, make him an offer.
