Pleased for him but the cost of resigning just went up edit: cromartie made it too - doubly glad for him (as we don't need to resign him)
Hahahah, that's what I thought when I saw your thread. The cost of Pain just went up quite a bit. Congrats to Laron though. Great pickup.
the guy has been very very good this year. other than his taking guys out at the knees i am a huge fan of his style of play. sadly we probably wont see him in a jets uniform again as i thought i read he would give no hometown discounts and is now a probowler and has proven he can play a full season.
Kudos to him. Not sure if 1 season with no injury can help him get a big contract elsewhere. He might end up with Jets in the end.
I don't know why you guys think we won't have Landry back next season. He should be our number 1 priority guy for re-signing (way above Greene or Keller) and we can make the money work, especially if we trade away Revis or Cro.
Full AFC pro bowl roster - Pats and Texans have the most selections - really surprised we don't have any of our offensive players listed......oh wai AFC * = starter Quarterback *-Peyton Manning, Denver Tom Brady, New England Matt Schaub, Houston Running back *Arian Foster, Houston Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Ray Rice, Baltimore Fullback *-Vonta Leach, Baltimore Wide receiver *-A.J. Green, Cincinnati *-Andre Johnson, Houston Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Wes Welker, New England Tight end *-Rob Gronkowski, New England Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Tackle *-Joe Thomas, Cleveland *-Duane Brown, Houston Ryan Clady, Denver Guard *-Logan Mankins, New England *-Marshal Yanda, Baltimore Wade Smith, Houston Center *-Maurkice Pouncey, Pittsburgh Chris Myers, Houston Defense Defensive end *-J.J. Watt, Houston *-Cameron Wake, Miami Elvis Dumervil, Denver Interior linemen *-Geno Atkins, Cincinnati *-Vince Wilfork, New England Haloti Ngata, Baltimore Outside linebacker *-Von Miller, Denver *-Tamba Hali, Kansas City Robert Mathis, Indianapolis Inside/Middle linebacker *-Jerod Mayo, New England Derrick Johnson, Kansas City Cornerback *-Champ Bailey, Denver *-Johnathan Joseph, Houston Antonio Cromartie, N.Y. Jets Free safety *-Ed Reed, Baltimore Strong safety *-Eric Berry, Kansas City LaRon Landry, N.Y. Jets Special teams Punter Dustin Colquitt, Kansas City Placekicker Phil Dawson, Cleveland Kick returner Jacoby Jones, Baltimore Special-teamer Matthew Slater, New England Long snapper TBA The Niners have 6 selections on Defense alone (and 9 in total) including both safety positions and the 2 of the 3 starting LBs (and a reserve LB)! I would love to bring one of their top personnel guys in to sort out the crap that is the Jets roster.
Glad that their both in, they both deserved it. Mo should be included, but this is mostly a popularity contest unless someone actually does REALLY well to the point where they'd be criticized. Cro should be starting over Champ and Joseph. He's been the best cornerback in the NFL this season.
Look on the bright side no one on the offense made the Pro Bowl. Think of all the money we saved.
We need to lock up Landry for 5 years, Im sure we will and he will get injured the first game of the season
No he hasn't , Patrick Peterson has been a beast all season and looks alot lot Revis did early. I do agree with you about Champ Bailey though Cro def had a better year then him when you consider how much longer Cro was on the field . Cromartie gave up a few big plays during the season though. The Mike Wallace pass against Pitt and last week against the Chargers both for TD's. Thats the diffrence between him and Revis. Revis never gives up a big play down the field it never happens
If you are going to troll, just leave now. I'm sure the Jaguars board has a few Tebow threads already. We don't need this crap from the likes of you, wishing pain on our team because it didn't work out here for your boy.
Remember all the no way Laron plays more then 8 games posts. Now hes in the probowl way to go Landry.
