    Are these announcers kidding me?

Sanchez has 8 mil coming no matter what, this is not about Sanchez it's about protecting their investment...if GMAC was smart, he'd come up lame..,Austin Howard is hot garbage, and Sparano has regressed...what are GMACs sacked hit hurried numbers!

This is why Sanchez is on the bench.

There's really nothing to say about either of them.

Sporano - This is the guy Rex wanted & that's why the Jets picked him up. That Wildcat crap is also from Rex.
Howard - Jets had no money & didn't even bother to draft an OL until the 6th or 7th round.

Jets are dealing with the results of their own efforts.

Rex has to be a part of this discussion. It's basically accepted that Tannenbaum is gone.

This entire team is a hot mess.

The o-line suck. The coaches suck. The wr suck. The Jets don't have a starting caliber QB on their roster. Other than they were in good shape. #sarcasm

bruh Sanchez is THE biggest reason why we're out of playoff contention. The o line so happens to have it's worst game today. Austin Howard has been solid this season, Moore, Brick etc have been good this season, the entire o line is good. Tanny, Rex or the o line does not change the fact that Sanchez is garbage.

The whole offense has been ridiculous this year. Would love to see Rex coaching just the defelnse and someone else coaching the offense. Tannenbaum, Sanchez and the offensive line (really offensive) need to go.

Sanchez throwing int's is a result of him trying to make plays. You see what happens when someone takes the sack - 11 sacks today. The jets still lose.

I think you are missing the true weakness of this team.

I'm not defending Sanchez but this has been a lack of talent and team issue on offense as the main problem. Sanchez is not the main problem, he hasn't helped the problems but he was not the main issue.

The Oline has not been stellar since 10', that is a fact. They have gotten a little more push against some of the weaker Dlines lately but today (like all year against bigger Dlinemen) they were getting knocked around and pushed back all game long.

We do not have anybody that is worth anything on offense. There is not one person on this offense that makes me excited or that I would want to go out and by their jersey because they are so great. It's because MT has severely undercut the offense for whatever reason and now we as the fans are paying for it because this offense is probably the worst I've seen. At least top 3 worst offenses I've seen as a NYJ fan.

No but it isn't a one or another scenario. MAybe Sanchez is garbage and the OL underperformed this year? That's probably the most likely scenario

I understand the weaknesses of this team. The o line needs depth, and not enough talent at WR and RB, with that said we seen other teams with similar situations around the league and the QB has done a better job with what he's been given.

Blame the o line for a bad game, but don't sit there and act like the o line has been terrible all year, the fact is that it's better than given credit for. If we're supposed to give Sanchez a pass for all his years of fuckery, then the o line and everybody else deserves that same discrestion.

The Oline has been horrible all year.. Are you serious? When have they looked good for us this year? It is clear that this is not the same Oline that was so strong in 09' and 10'. Not even close to it. This unit has been exposed the last couple years and It blows my mind that the offensive line has not been addressed either year by MT. It is crazy to me.

Nobody on this board would have thought that A. Howard would be the starting RT for us this year, that should tell you all you need to know about how flawed our offense is as a collective whole.

He is the main problem. I'm not saying Kerley is an all world receiver but look who Tannehill is throwing to, he is turning Brian Hartline into a legit weapon. We see old man Brandon Weeden turning Greg Little into a weapon and Richardson isn't even playing any better than Greene at this time.

The Jets o line is better than given credit for. It may not be as good as 08-10. But it is better than what a lot of other teams have to work with. They've given Sanchez adequete time in the pocket and Sanchez couldn't do anything with it. You can't expect the o line to hold off professional NFL players for more than 6 or 7 seconds.

I'm not denying the lack of talent, but it's not like Edwards, Kerley, Cumberland, Greene and Powell are THE worst players any QB can have.

The Jets have the top 10 rated o line in the league. I can admit that the line has taken a step back but calling it "horrible" is a stretch.

It isn't JUST the oline. The WR's aren't getting open. There are many issues. Sacks are due to multiple factors - no one open, no protection, etc.

Football outsiders? According to FO we have a top 10 power run OL, a bottom 12 pass protection team, bottom 20 medium run blocking team, and a bottom 20 open field blocking team.

Agreed. McElroy had plenty of time to throw and didn't throw. That's not the o-line's fault.

I didn't say it was just the o line. My point is that despite the weaknessess at WR, RB the players we have aren't THAT terrible to excuse bad play from the QB.

Go back and watch some of these games, protection has been fine, what you define as "good" protection? 30-40 seconds each snap for Sanchez to sit back?

    Okay

On some of the sacks, that is true, but in no way did he have Brady time on several of them, he had time to get his first read and then bang he was getting rocked... he was hit a lot and hurried too, and no one is open either that doesn't help.
