Not that it mattered in the end result

But apparently it's now legal to grab Jets QB's by the helmet and throw them by the helmet and facemask to the ground

I mean seriously, I know we suck. But for the refs to just stand around and not care when this shit happens is borderline criminal

McElroy, the poor guy gets left out to dry all day while the OLine tries to get him hurt...final play he gets crushed by the worst personal foul I've ever seen

    Refs don't care

The refs were excited to see the sack record broken.

I agree, that was a disgrace, and shame on our offensive line,
and coaches, for not protecting this kid better in his first game.

And I don't care if every guy on offense was pro Sanchez...if McElroy was the guy today it's their job to play and CARE, and keep him upright.

Just no effort to do any of that. I swear I though McElroy broke his neck on the last play

Was our O-line trying to get McElroy killed? Sheesh, Sanchez fucks things up, and he has all day. McElroy plays smart and BAM sack after sack.

That sack was brutal. He got lifted off his feet. That sack was ridiculous, on the line, and the refs. It really does seem like the line didn't care the whole game. 11 sacks is just crazy, blame some on Greg but 11 sacks? Really?

The refs just looked like they wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. If that was Brady that would have been a 40 yard penalty and an ejection of that defender.

Exactly, it went from DBrick not allowing a sack to allowing one in Jax, to getting completely shitted on today.

yea that was bullshit. In the beginning of the game they get Coples for swiping Rivers face mask, in fact the ref didn't throw the flag it seemed until Rivers cried to the ref afterwards. Yet our qb gets like clothes lined like its the WWE and does almost a cartwheel in the air lands on his head and no flag. Unbelievable.

What about those phantom holding calls on Jets defense?

Well part of the reason Brick didn;t let up a sack was because Sanchez would throw the ball into coverage to avoid it

Yea i believe this game might've guaranteed our 1st rd pick being spent on the offensive line.

McElroy was holding on to the ball too long. The majority of those sacks were not on him. You can blame the WRs for not getting open as fast as McElroy's satisfaction but he has to make quicker decisions. SD were blitzing on most of those plays that means after 3 seconds back there he should let it fly or throw it away.

I'll give McElroy one thing he knows how to complete a dump off pass. For whatever reason Sanchez had difficulty even doing that.

Yeah, I thought I was the only person that noticed that. It almost seemed as though the referee asked Rivers if he got hit in the head, then threw the flag. I thought that play was crazy.

this isnt a case of blaming the refs for losing...its a simple observation that the refs let something slide that shouldnt have been allowed.

Did you even read what the OP posted? No where did he blame the refs, just asking for a little protection of our QB.
