I think the spread with jets as slight favorite on this meaningless game didn't change much when McElroy was announced as starter. Not that money line on these pre-season type of games mean much. Still anyone can bet on those lines and vegas oddsmaker is saying McElroy with a just few snaps as a pro QB to his name can't be any worse than Sanchez. I wondered what the line would be if Tebow was named as starter...probably SD fav for sure.

I believe he will have a modest, but efficient game. He will have around a 63% completion percentage, a 5.32 Yard per attempt, and a TD/TO ratio of 1 or better.
15/21 for 185 yards 1TD 0INT until during a timeout Sanchez fumbles waterbottle into McElory's left eye causing him to be placed on IR. Subsequently Sanchez is 0/1 in hydration attempts and during the offseason McElroy's eye is developed into the strongest eye in the NFL.
I'd be surprised if he put up anymore than 150 yards. I wish that we could mix the three if ourQBs together. McElroy smarts, Sanchez arm, Tebow size and running ability. Then we would really have something.
What was the reason Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round? Not saying he going to be TB but late round players turn into good/great players all the time.
Everyone says Sanchez has a good arm but to me, at least this year, all his throws seem to float in slow motion in the air as they make their way to the receivers. Maybe it's just because we've seen so many ints and as fans it seems that the ball is moving so slowly, but I don't think so. He is either unable to judge the right velocity to put on the ball anymore, which you see on his inability to hit any dumpoff receivers, or else he's lost something on his arm and the throws don't have any zip on them...I just don't see him as having a strong arm.
I think they should set up a vcash bet with over under at about 170 yds. I guess SD crowds line, we should pass first but won't and he is put in poor down distance situations. 14-27 165 1 pick.
