Im gonna go realistic. Mingo -LSU Andre Ellington - Clemson Michael Vick - VT, Falcons, ATL department of corrections, Philadelphia Eagles. Im probably not on the "nice" list though.
D Davis WILL start. I think Rex just doesn't have the stomache to bench/cut Scott, they won a Superbowl together. They've been on the same side for damn near a decade. But Davis might have been the best kept secret in this draft. I cant see Bart Scott not retiring this year. He's actually damaging what is actually a pretty badass legacy. Hang it up.
After the 2010 afc title game I honestly expected 2011 to be a down season followed by a rebound season in 2012 but like you said I didn't expect things to get this bad. On the stability part, over the past 30 years or so, Id say jets coaches on average last 3-4 seasons. When your constantly switching coaches its not the coach that's the problem but the organization. I hope they keep Rex and keep a defensive minded ability while bringing in an offensive coordinator that knows why he's doing and give them time to put the pieces together. I don't mind a transitional season or 2 where the team takes lumps but shows improvement if the long term result is sustained success. Oh yeah, 3a. For woody to stop being an attention whore that craves publicity regardless if its positive or negative.
1) A new left guard 2) A new right guard 3) Two more wishes 4) A new left tackle 5) A new right tackle
1. Complete roster overhaul. Ditch all the overpaid vets and go with a youth movement. 2. New GM with a brilliant football mind 3. #1 pick in 2014 draft (which should be in the bag if we go with #1). Use this to select the QB of the future.
- a veteran QB to have a QB competition with McElroy and sanchez - a punt returner who doesn't call for 90% fair catches - a new offensive coordinator with a little imagination
1) A prioritization of winning over publicity 2) Finding a franchise QB in the draft 3) Release of a Tom Brady gay sex tape* * Not that there's anything wrong with that
1. Get rid of Tebow 2. Get rid of Sparano and bring in Norv Turner 3. Bring in a true talent evaluator to manage the roster and leave contract stuff to Tannenbaum
1 - Yes, that would be nice if our idiot owner would realize we are not in the PR business 2 - I'm not sure there is one in this draft, and you never know what McElroy can bring to the table here 3 - There is definitely one out there
1) For once, keep all of our draft picks , no offseason trades that deplete our draftpicks, no trading up 3 spots in the second round at the expense of our 4th and 6th. 2) Game changing RB 3) New LB that will be our field general on defense, aka the NYJ version of Ray Lewis
Norv turner. Right tackle. Posters realizing that aside from a second bad OC, the fact that no one is talking about Clyde Gates, or Mardy Gilyard....means they don't get it..l Think about this....Norv comes in... Gets Sanchez,Holmes,Edwards,Hill,Kerley,Keller,Cumberland to work with....
1. McElroy pans out as a good NFL QB 2. hopefully somebody will take Sanchez off the Jets via trade 3. hitting on every draft pick while addressing the needs like OLB, LB, and O line depth
