The daily news says it has learned Tebow will ask the Jets to trade him since they don't plan on starting him according to sources once the season is over,I hope we do it on the first day your alowed to trade again, I don't get why they can't spilt the last two games between Tebow and MclRoy why not at this point nothing either one of them does matters any way.Personally I feel like Rex won't put Tebow in for the final two games because say Tebow does great and we win the last two then Rex is gonna come under fire for not making the change early in the season and I think rex doesn't want to risk that happening
Completely understandable. I was never a Tebow fan and I didn't like the trade for him, but what this organization has done for him is contemptible; they lied to him and it's a shame b/c he could have been a starter on the Jags or some other team.
Agree, I'm not some Tebow fan but I feel like we did a disservice to the guy. This just validates that the trade for him was orchestrated by Woody and Rex/Sporano just towed the company line. Complete crap and another wasted draft pick by Tannenbaum. I wonder what the trade value is? A 6th or 7th pick? Judging from our track record there whoever we draft won't make the team anyway.
its really for the best at this point espeically since we don't plan on letting him play two meaningless games, Is Rex possibly afraid Tebow will do really good and it could end up getting him fired???? because if Tebow comes in the last two games and plays and does well then Rex is gonna look bad for sticking with Sanchez all year and everything will look like his fault witch it would be
I knew trading for Tebow would be a disaster and I wasn't wrong... I would bet Jacksonville will trade for him, he'll put butts in the seats. I can't for the life of me understand why we traded for the guy, to be a special teams player? I don't get it, but everyone definitely needs to move on.
So much for this franchise becoming more classy and its operations more effective. I don't blame Tim Tebow 1 bit for requesting a trade. I'm just surprised it took this long to happen.
Whatever you think of Tebow, Jets definitely gave him the shaft. Hopefully Jets agree to get rid of him and keep in inactive for last 2 games so Mcelroy gets all the snaps.
That's how I feel, regardless of what you think of him he's been a class act and we did rob him of this season all so Woody can sell some jerseys and put more butts in the seats. Pretty f'd up.
After last night. 1st hearing that McElroy will start then, hearing this.... Today really isn't that bad of a day. So friggin true!!
Can't blame tebow one bit at all. Him on the jets was doomed from the start. I wish woody could get traded too though
Well Tebow made millions in salary, and millions more in endorsements, I wouldn't feel too bad for him. I definitely would've traded years with him. Only difference is I would be getting laid like crazy and not going to Church.
I have a weird feeling he will play alot in the wildcat and succeed, because now if he succeeds he won't make Sand-shit look bad...
Exactly. And given the uncertainty of an NFL career, this is a year of his life he'll never get back. This entire episode should be a dark stain on the history of this franchise.
I'm not a Tebow fan but I really feel bad for the way he was treated by this organization. It was blatantly obvious Woody brought this kid here to put asses in seats and sell PSL's, which really screwed the guy over in the end.
