 this cant be real. So why again is Tebow here and if this is the case why was Mc 3rd stringer................................................................................................
What Rex doesn't want to say is now that the team's out of the playoffs the organization needs to see what they have in McElroy because he 'might' be here and don't need to see Tebow start becuase they know he won't be here. Of course he's not going to say a guy's not going to be here with two games left in the season, or that there's any reason for doing a move besides doing what's in the best interest of winning.
I heard Rex earlier on Michael Kay's radio show. He would not directly answer any question put to him regarding Sanchez, Tebow, McElroy or anything else. What a tool! He must go. Tony (genius) Sporano is a fine coach. Please. Rex has no clue. Can the fans fire an owner?
at this point rex actually says less than mangini used to say. only mangini would say i am not going to tell you shit. rex on the other hand treats you like an idiot while lying to you and telling you nothing.
Disagree. My guess is Sanchez somehow suffers an "injury" between now and Sunday, and Tebow is the backup.
If Rex gets fired he'll be hired somewhere in the NFL as defensive coordinator within a week or two. The delay will only be because Rex and his agent were trying to figure out if there was a head coaching gig out there for him, which there likely will not be. Rex is the hottest defensive mind in the business at the moment. Everybody wants to get his phantom pass defenses in play.
of course he would give different answers in private than he does on a radio broadcast. isn't that obvious? its a radio show its not a private discussion.
Remember the good 'ol days when we worried about his clock managment skills? I really like Rex, but he has done a terrible job with this team.
Name the problems with the team, most come to managing the cap and lack of talent. I think we are overplaying or playing our talent right now. We don't have an above average QB, RB, or WR currently. We have 2 above average OL. That's our offense right now, 2 above average players and JAGs or worse. Our defense is a little brighter but also has holes.
He has no clue at this point what the hell to do. But to be fair to him, the GM has handicapped him with piss poor talent... And whoever forced the clown show on him is a moron...That probably ruined Sanchez with the clown looking over his shoulders... I think your GM gets fired and Rex gets another year to fix it.
Not having McElroy active last night is a MAJOR error in judgement and helped end the jets season early. It wasn't fair to the team, the owner, and the fans!!! I think Rex will be back but I will not be upset if he is fired. He chose to see his team eliminated from the playoffs rather than admit suckchez sucks!!!!
Well first off, I don't know what benching Sanchez in the AZ games means besides he sucks. If anyone listens to him, "turnover"=Sanchez. They way he talks about turnovers makes it sound like a person because it is Sanchez. Anyways, I think someone forced Rex to ride with Sanchez because of the money tied up in. Try to win with Sanchez and Rex almost did the impossible it seems. I wouldn't mind Rex going if we do a clean sweep, and I wouldn't mind Rex going if the new GM doesn't want him, but I don't want Rex going and Tanny staying because I think that misses the main problems this team had.
not sure which one of your two avatars was more hilarious. considering they both involve suckchise, then it's a well-deserved tie.:drunk:
Rex let Sanchez stay on the field for way longer than he should have. And not having a viable backup available is inexcusable. That ain't "lack of talent"...that's lack of intelligence. Hiring Sparano is another dumb move. Keeping Matt Cavanaugh on staff is yet another decision. Should I keep going?
