Are you still here? Sanchez is DOG SHIT. It is literally impossible to play worse then Sanchez played tonight, or for the last 2 years. To even suggest that anyone in any level of football, from high school to the NFL, is worse then Sanchez is to admit your total ignorance of football. Just stop watching.
On couple of those interceptions, I thought the DB was calling for a fair catch because they had so much time to get under the ball.
Dude, it wasn't a single receiver play. There are other receivers out there running routes. If the route to the EZ is open, take it, if not, throw to someone else. That's what progressions are for and it's one of the reasons why there's more than 1 guy out running routes. Play call wasn't the problem, it was the decision making and execution on Sanchez's part.
We would have a better chance of scoring if we dressed our receivers in the uniform of the opposing team.
Look, let's face it; Tannenbaum was taking a chance against overwhelming statistics when he drafted Sanchez. There needs to be a basic threshold for skill set balance to play quarterback in the NFL. It took blacks decades before finally adjusting their innate abilities to the style of the NFL. I'm afraid Hispanics, namely Sanchez, lack the cognitive ability to play quarterback, and do not possess the athletic ability to compensate for the deficiency. Evolution takes time, and the Hispanic man is simply not ready to play the quarterback position.
Sanchez is the worst QB in the league ... and the worst veteran QB I've ever seen by a freakin' mile ... but that doesn't excuse the imbecile we have calling plays. If anything it should occur to the idiot, that our QB can't play even a little ... so maybe we should call as few passing plays as possible.
Sanchez pump fakes to the guy he's throwing to on non-double move, seam routes. It's literally ridiculous. He tells the defense where he's going with the ball....He lacks the ability to make solid decisions, he tells the D where he is going with the ball, he makes terrible reads, and he has no mental toughness. The book is officially closed on this guy. There isn't a single person on earth who can make a solid case or even a sub par case for this guy. Time to move on. Evaluate McElroy in the last 2 games. Woody needs to be ready to make some quick staffing decisions, and they need to move in a new direction as an organization. In fact, I'd roll some heads tomorrow to send a message that changes are coming. QB coach and Bart Scott should be terminated first thing in the morning.
Sorry...they should not have been throwing in that situation. That's Mark Sanchez under center. They should never, ever call a pass play. Never ever.
Relax, sparky. I've been talking about how horrible Sanchez is since before the season started. You're preaching to the choir. He's terrible. He's the worst consistent starter in the NFL, and it's not close. I'm simply remarking upon the likelihood that McElroy is like every other 7th round quarterback before him -- not a viable starting option.
You obviously have no clue about biology do you? Statistics also say that a white male is more prone to be a mass shooter than anyone else, so does that mean you are one too? Keep petty nonsense to yourself and educate yourself. Here is a book for you "Biology for Dummies"
If you are arguing that we should have completely taken the ball out of Sanchez's hands and ran it, I won't disagree with you. But, that's not the argument that was put forth. The complaint was that the pass was in the endzone and how we should have tried to score slowly instead.
the pass play wasn't the issue, the issue was that he decided to throw the ball in triple coverage. Why not look off the primary target and throw to a different receiver?
GUYS ... GM_Davenport is trying to get a rise out of you, and you're feeding him. Stop quoting him and responding to his idiocy. We all realize the guy is a moron. Just ignore him.
