Now that the season is over, Rex better bench Sanchez and go with McElroy these last two games.

I will say that Sanchez would have been a better qb if he had a coach who could develop his talent. Rex Ryan is not that guy. He is a great defensive coach but he sucked at developing Sanchez. Also the front office for the Jet didnt help much. They did try to get him receivers and talent around him but then they go get Tebow and create his nonsense hysteria clown show in New York. That destroyed whatever confidence was left for Sanchez

Yeah it happened. Sanchez walked right by him as if Rex was just some field worker and pretended nothing was going on. Rex's posture was as if he was prepared to stab someone though I didn't get a good look at his face.

Sanchez has not made the necessary progress. His passes are all over the place never mind the drops the accuracy is terrible unless you are a defensive player then he is pretty accurate hitting them. He decision making is terrible also. Plus he is not being helped by Sparano and Cavanaugh. Someone needs to lose their job for the playcalling right before the the fumble to end the game. Down at the 20 and running the ball good why would you throw knowing Sanchez hasn't thrown the ball well in 12 games? I also do not ever want to hear about Jets West it has done nothing for his continuity with receivers. The way they look together it as if they never met before each game.

No...if im implied that no..not a dirty look. It was worse. He just looked right past him as if he had no idea who he was. Very cold. In fact they played it back on SNY and Lucas makes a point of saying wow...Rex didnt seem to want to make eye contact him with him and everyone agreed.

But still...that would really bother you or I right? Not Mark..as soon as Rex passed him...Mark broke into a sprint as if he was being chased by a blitz to find the coach of the Titans. He grabbed the coach and he turned around as if to say..what? The titan HC was surprised.

He shouldnt have been...Mark has made it his thing to run after every HC of the other team EVERY GAME of his career...and it just drives me insane for all the reasons I stated before.

    Dead on..exactly.

Mark is done..its over..and Im 100 percent positive its over. He will not start next week nor ever again for the Jets. It wouldnt make a difference if they owed him 50 million next year...he is done.

    Exactly.

They both suck. There are two big differences.

Number one, Tebow can run. That's valuable.

Number two, Tebow knows he's a shitty passer. He won't throw the ball up for grabs or try to fit it in tight spots. He doesn't get flustered and run into his lineman's ass. If it's not there, he makes something happen with his legs or chucks it 10 yards out of bounds and lets his defense and special teams do their jobs.

Ideally, you'd prefer a QB that doesn't suck. But if you're going to have a QB that sucks, you might as well have one that can run and knows his limitations.

Sanchez is like General McLellan. First in his class at West Point, knows all the plays like an encyclopedia, great technique but then on the battlefield falls apart. The only thing he is really good at is brownnosing and being a sycophant.

If they both suck, you start McElroy...

Pretty simple decision...No point in arguing over 2 crappy QBs.

    Completely inexcuseable.
Off-the-charts stupid on so many levels.
Even if you complete the pass, you leave Tennessee almost 2 minutes to get the tie or the win. Not only do you want to score there ... you want to score slowly.

Throwing that pass is a sure sign that your OC hasn't got the first fucking clue about play calling. I swear I predicted that INT during the commercial. I thought the hire was idiotic from day one, and Morono spent the entire season proving me right.

The worst QB in football + an imbecile calling plays = a disaster of a season

That depends on whether you look at McElroy as a legitimate option or not. Honestly, seventh round QBs are one in a hundred propositions. We can give him a test drive if we really want, but odds are he's the worst of the three.

Forget reads....he telegraphed every int. tonight.

And if that wasn't helping the Titans enough, Sancho would throw in a couple of pump fakes to make sure the d-backs had enough time to get over to where Sancho was staring.

2:00 minutes to go, down 4, 1st & 10 at the 23....and you call (and attempt) a throw into the end zone (and triple coverage)??? with a qb who has struggled all game.

What kind coaching staff does that?

Even if we scored a td there the Titans get the ball back with 1:55 left on the clock.

    Just utter stupidity.

Couldnt agree more. Thats why you see all of the players..or most...defending him. Its what got him drafted by Tanny and Rex and sold Woody.

He is a great great salesman. Pete Carrol had it right and many of us, including me, thought Carroll was being selfish.

What Carroll really wanted to say is not what he did say..hes not ready...but hes not mentally ready and may never be.

Start Tebow. We know we are going to keep McElroy. When Tebow suck in the last two games we have a good reason to let him go.
