If anyone brings up "BUT MARK SANCHEZ LEAD US TO TWO AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES" again I will flip a shit.
After 131 passing yards on 28 attempts and four interceptions, by some heretofore unprecedented miracle, he has to go 25 yards to win. And he can't catch a low snap on first down. People talk about Tebow getting lucky, but at least his awful ass could capitalize on luck. Sanchez gets lucky and fucks up for the fifth time.
Give me Tebow. Give me McElroy. Give me Bilal Powell in the shotgun if you want. But if Sanchez is starting at QB for the New York Jets again at any point this season, I'm done with this team until the GM and coach are both gone.
If this thing starts next week I will be shocked. There is no way Rex can EVER start this assclown again specifically at home.
Sanchez CAN BE AMAZING. He led us to two AFC Champ games he is the Peyton Manning. His has pinpoint accuracy and barely makes any mistakes. I don't know why you guys keep trashing Sanchez.
Honestly, Rex deserves this. I'm sorry to say it because he's a good guy and he does a lot of things well as a coach, but he had the chance. At the bye, if you make the switch, this season is still alive. He rode Sanchez right into the dirt. He made his bed. Now he has to sleep in it.

If I was into conspiracy theories I would be wondering about a Black Sox situation. This is not just poor play. Lindley played poorly. Locker played poorly. This is doing things that NO player above the middle school level would do. This is throwing away chances time after time after time. There is no rational explanation for this that I can see - unless, of course, it is deliberate.
Steve Young thinks Sanchez and the Ryan coaching combo is no longer gonna work. One or the other has to go if you don't want to do a hard reset.
Well, if anyone had a shadow of a doubt....... it's gone now. The experiment is over. The JETS will have the highest paid 3rd string QB in the league next year
Honestly, I'm sort of glad it ended like this. I'm not embarrassed. Our defense played MORE than well enough to win us the game. I'm happy. The excuses have run out for Sanchez. He is going to get lynched if he starts in Metlife stadium next week. Just eat the money and move on. We have the pieces to be a 9-10 win team. We just need a leader to get into the endzone, and that is not Sanchez.
