the TO # that is LESS than Eli Manning? .4 in rating, who cares about rating? it's about WINNING. You guys would be happier if we had a higher rated QB but less wins.
Rankings??? You were the one who just pulled the stats out when I said that Sanchez sucks based on what I see on the field. Which one is it? You can't have it both ways! Either you don't think Sanchez passes the eye test or you think the stats say he doesn't pass the test. And what's even more sad? Saying Sanchez is better than Grossman is like saying that the guy who got a C- is much better than the guy who got a D. That's supporting mediocrity. If your eyes tell you that Sanchez is the answer than I can't help you there.
sanchez has more turnovers in the past 4 seasons(i.e. his career) then manning. in fact he has turned it over more then anyone in football. but maybe you missed all 81 of those? or maybe your eyes told you something different then everyone else while watching those awful turnovers? you cant keep going back and forth. if its about winning, rex grossman has won more and gotten to a superbowl, im not sure how a higher rating would translate to LESS wins. it would mean we are turning it over less and scoring more.
since 2009: Eli: 70 INTs, 18 fumbles lost- total 88 Sanchez: 64 INTs, 18 fumbles lost- total 82 http://www.nfl.com/player/elimanning/2505996/profile http://www.nfl.com/player/marksanchez/79858/profile is 88 more or less than 82? Rex won 2 HOME playoff games in a WEAK NFC, Sanchez won 4 ROAD playoff games in a good AFC. Rex led Chi to a winning rdcord in ONE year, Sanchez has never had a losing record. so you think higher rating = more wins? you know Matt Schaub is 10th all time and he's still searching for his first postseason win, right? matt Ryan is 12th, still sreaching. Our former punching bag Chad Pennington is 13th,... and yet if we win out we have a great shot at postseason.
Front office says they loved Kaepernick but didn't draft him. Front office says they loved Russell Wilson but didn't draft him. Front office goes after Peyton Manning, gets Heisman'ed, then claims they always loved Mark Sanchez as they re-up him. Front office repeats they love Sanchez, then trades for Tim Tebow. Front office says Tebow will run the wildcat and serve as the backup QB. Tebow runs 2 or 3 plays a game as fake QB and WR and sees more action as personal punt protector. Sanchez plays like Sanchez, and Tebow, the supposed backup QB, still never sees the field. Whatever the coaches / front office say in the offseason, expect them to contradict themselves in a matter of days.
That's debatable. According to QBR he has the two worst games in the NFC with more talent around him than most QBs. Replace flacco with Sanchez with their careers and to be honest nothing probably changes for either team
Flacco is a road-block for the Ravens. He still has the potential to become a top tier starter but he is not likely too. He's in kind of a similar place to where Eli Manning was at this point in his career. Win a big game or two and everything will be golden, fail to do that and he'll be out the door in a year or two at the outside.
i have to say out of all the bad posters we have ever had here on tgg, you at this point are the worst poster on this entire site and that this entire site has ever seen. its like you are a child who just wants to get people riled up and cause drama as you continually do whatever is necessary to do it. you arent difficult you are obnoxious at this point. and i just may take big blockers advice and put you on ignore even though i have never even fathomed doing that to anyone on any board anywhere. go sancheese!
sanCHEESE has to go get over it, sanCheese is terrible. Regardless of the cost, cut him and move on. He is nothing but a useless distraction now. Bottom 5 QB, very possibly the worst QB to play more than 4 years in the NFL.
That's not really saying much. IMO both are garbage QBs. The only difference is the Ravens are trying their damned hardest to convince themselves that Flacco is their man. And they have Ray Rice, which makes a whole world of a difference. Rivers I think can still be a great QB in this league. A change of scenary would help. If we can bring in Norv, a new GM and Rivers (with some WRs) I think we can be in a great shape. He makes some dumb mistakes, but there's no question his mental toughness
