If SF runs up the score, they would be stupid like the Pats to leave Kaepernick, Gore, Davis, etc in the game late in the 4th to do it. If you are going to run it up, use your backups just to be safe
If I was coaching and up 3+ scores on the Cheats with under 5 to play, I'd bring in my backups and run it up the middle on first down. Second down: two tight end set, play action, go deep
I'm sorry, I know that it doesn't help us because Houston might have less to play for against Indy, but I just can't feel bad about the Pats getting their asses kicked at home on national TV. It actually warms my soul.
Hernandez drops another one as Brady tries to hit him in stride. That Golson hit cost 15 yards but leaving some effects
 Now I see you mentioned backups. Same page again. I would never use my starters late against New England because they'll be playing for injuries.
I'm really enjoying the Pats follies tonight. The only thing better would be 2 TDs by SF in less than a minute.
Hernandez gets destroyed...penalty. Next play he doesn't make a clean catch..it gets INT. Yes, no doubt the hit was worth it!
I always said I never blamed NE for running it up, but I thought it was stupid to leave Brady out there to do it. And yeah some Pats would go for injuries.
well that's the stupid part of it only a fool leaves his starters in when blatantly running up the score. Or maybe Belichick isn't a fool and winning is not his primary motivation... NE is a dirty team anyway but they'd get especially dirty if someone were running it up
SportsPickle @sportspickle If I had to pick one quarterback to win a game against a team with no defensive line or pass rush, I would consider Tom Brady.
