have any of you guys watched the last few games? the ones in our nice big win streak?

this team is not going anywhere. they are not good and they are not fun to watch.

i still watch and i still root for them but i am not going to be all fucking rah rah over this team at this point. its still a calamity even though we have won 2 straight.

i get it...but why bother rooting for the team? i just cant follow your line of thinking as to say no they are dead and no hope at all...that's the point of being a fan.

We might finish this season 9-7 and yet we had not 1 single losing season with an inconsistetnt quarterback. This season we might go 9-7 without Revis or Holmes and a sub par receiving corp. Not to mention the lack of pass rush we haven't had in ages.

Now imagine if Sanchez steps his shit up, which seems unlikely, and Revis and Holmes are healthy. We add the missing holes from the draft and an explosie RB and we are in business! 9-7 with all these missing pieces is one hell of an accomplishment

This is where I stand. Yes, I do not like the Jets management, but if they go 9-7 and MISS the playoffs. Why the hell do people wanna blow the entire thing up? We are missing our 2 best players, if they play, you can say we win maybe 1 or 2 more games. And then 10-6 or 11-5 makes the playoffs every year.

It's not over. We have a creampuff schedule compared to everybody else but if we lose even one of the last three games then it should be over and the firings should start.

    Yes sir!

We have Kerley, who is panning out to be a much needed slot receiver, Edwards back, who if healthy is very dangerous, and Holmes healthy. Hill will have a year under his belt and hopefully take some pointers from Holmes and Edwards.

Things are looking very bright for the future of this team. We need an explosive running back to compliment Greene and a more consistent QB. Hell, we were one game away from the Super Bowl 2 years under Sanchez. With the right pieces, even with Sanchez, we can make a run for it again.

As I have said previously , The Jets always put us in this position. Would I like them to suck even worse then they do now , No! Would I like them to make the playoffs , Yes! The problem is we are doing nothing in terms of building this team for the future. Middle of the pack Draft picks lead to middle of the pack players. We have far too many holes that we seem to not solidify in the draft ; rather we pick up those stop gap players in free agency that perform so , so but are able to remain on the team allowing the deficiencies to go unaddressed.

at this point the firings wont start, they wont even happen. winning barely those 2 games now have everyone feeling all warm and fuzzy about the playoffs and next year. they are talking about how great kerley is as a slot and how edwards will do great and holmes will be back and will be at pro bowl level.

they are talking about how amazing our defense is

they have forgotten the debacle that this season actually is. and trust me those who could be fired are all looking at it the same way as the green colored glasses crew. and i have no faith in woody realizing what the team really needs at this point.

so thank you for two of the most horrible games i have ever watched, and i am sad that i think they will lead to more frustration next year.

No the season is not over. So you are saying that once the Jets are eliminated from contention the season is over for you. That is straight fair weather fan talk. Yeah it is nice when they are winning but you bail when the going gets rough. Way to be man.

Technically the season isn't over. We theoretically could make it to the playoffs and win the Super Bowl.

Realistically, I don't believe the Jets will make the post-season partially because I don't expect Sanchez to play well enough to win the next three games and partially because I don't think the Steelers will lose two games.

We all are jets fans here and with all the losing through out the years. Why would someone post this question?

It's appears to be a hobby of his, and for one who doesn't watch NCAA I am thankful for.

I like the guy who would rather lose out to move up a handful of spots in the draft instead of the (decent) chance to make the playoffs.

I dont see the Jets winning tomorrow. In late games for some reason the JETS tend to play terrible/worst.

The season has been over for weeks. I just wish they'd stop winning games.

This is the kind of mediocrity that disallows getting big impact guys (QB) in the draft and retention of horrible personnel managers (Tanny).

Turk this above post by Alleycat sums it up perfectly.....it is exactly how I feel. I am not telling anyone not to root for the team,,,I just accept the fact that they are not very good,,,in fact they are quite bad.

What he said. Backup the truck and lets clean house. The last thing we need is a playoff game to validate the stench we call the Jets staff.

The draft is such a wash outside the top-5 (which we won't be regardless). Root for your team.

Went 9-7 our first year with Rex and we went and added Cro, LT, and Tone off the top of my head. I don''t think the FO will think they are good. We went 8-8 last year and fired our OC. I think this FO is making moves within the limitations we have no matter our record.

I'm worried about panicking and trading up for a QB in this draft and over drafting just because we want a future QB. That would set us back another 3-4 years
