If anyone thinks this team has any chance to make some noise in the playoffs they are delusional ! We have not beaten a team with a winning record in almost 2 years,,,,,we beat tomato cans, palookas. ,,,not one good team. For me the season was just about over when Miami blew us out at home. If you wanted to hope for playoffs that should have ended with the Bengal win Thursday nite. Yeah we could hope that we win out and everyone else lose out but let's be real it ain't happening. This jet team is just plain bad,,,,there needs to be changes in the entire organization starting with the demotion or firing of the GM,,,possibly the coach,,,,that's up to the possible new GM,,,,,and the QB will be the new GM s decision as well.....I would do my best to dump all 3 and blow it up ,,start from scratch,,,,,,,so yeah for me it has been over,,,,I have seen this picture, so have many of you and we all know how it ends !
It's week 15. And the Jets have a possible, if somewhat unlikely shot at the playoffs. How could this season be over for you???
I could have understood this thread two weeks ago more than now. The Jets don't have a 'good' chance at the playoffs, but they have a chance and winning two in a row would at least keep them alive going into Week 17 (unless the Steelers win two).
LOL This is not surprising at all. We have a chance to make it in the playoffs, yet you are asking if we think our season is over? Are you kidding me? Some fans are fuckin incredible. When there is absolutely no hope left, then I will say we are done. Until then, go Jets.
i have to admit thats a bit bizarre. you do realize you dont work for the jets and that all of your research really doesnt do the jets any good?
definitely not...it was over to me weeks ago and then they strangely found themselves involved...given that they strangely in the mix I can't see how I can consider their season over...its over if they get mathematically eliminated.
this i can understand...definitely has been one of the stranger seasons i've ever witnessed and i certainly understand your post 100%
Yeah I can't get into 'scouting' NCAA games especially given it's a ? where the Jets are actually drafting. Plus out of thousands of seniors the Jets are in the end going to draft less than ten, and have some in as UDFA's. If you enjoy NCAA football that's one thing, but watching it to scout is a bit over the top lol.
Not over for me. I wait all year for these few months where we can watch OUR team. Unless you just became a fan '09 -'10 than you should be used to disappointment by now lol. Bottom line, enjoy it while its here because a month from now there wont be much to talk about
Yes as far as Super Bowl chances, Yes as far as Sanchez's future as the QB, No in the sense that I will still watch the remaining games.
'Needing help' to make the playoffs is not that big of a deal. It makes the rest of the NFL interesting. We watch games on the edge of our seats we'd otherwise not give a rat's ass about. At the start of the season you'd take 12-4 any day. But even 12-4 requires 'help' from other teams to make the 6th and final seed. If 6 other teams finish 13-3, your not going to be happy. So 'needing help' is always in the background, even from day one. We have 3 games left, and could end the season with a winning record for the 3rd time in 4 years. That alone is great. And the fact that these last 3 games seem 'winnable' makes it even more exciting. And the fact that we could be sitting here 4 weeks from now discussing how the Jets could kick the shit out of the Colts for the 2nd time this season to advance makes this a very good season. I'm all in!
