Twenty-four hours after Rex Ryan ruled Tim Tebow out from playing the wildcat or acting as a personal punt protector, the coach essentially reversed his position on the subject. Tebow was moving better than expected in practice, Ryan said, and even took some snaps as a personal punt protector.
"He moved around great. This is the best he's looked in several weeks, so…there could be a chance he does wildcat," said Ryan. "He moved around that good that we may get him back in similar roles."
Ryan said Tebow will not require additional X-rays before the game given that he's been cleared to play and has only been held out by the coaches. Ryan acknowledged that Tebow doesn't take hits in practice and therefore he doesn't know how the QB will respond if he takes on in a game, but said Tebow's health is apparent.
"Just looking at the way he's throwing the football," said Ryan. "Before ... you could almost tell that he wasn't real sure. I can't see a visible difference at the start of the year to right now."

I hardly ever root for Dallas but I will this weekend for two reasons. I'm sick of the Giants and I don't care who dethrones them and we need a Steelers loss.

As for the topic, I hope for Tebow that he does get to play. I don't like his style but he has been nothing but a great teammate. I may not think he can play QB in this league and I very well could be wrong but I have really learned to like Tebow the person. Has done everything the team has asked of him without hesitation. He has earned my respect and I hope if he isn't with the Jets next year he succeeds someplace... as long as it isn't against the Jets.
