They are 7-3 in their last 10 Sunday night games and 6-3 all time at home on Sunday night. Monday night road games are a different story where they are 7-17 all time. Of course none of that really matters, different years and different situations and I am also glad it was moved to 1.
It's not that, is the fact that a lot of Jets fans don't live in Tri State area anymore. And now they have one less chance to watch the team for free on t.v.
This could suck for me as I will be driving from about 1-6pm. If the game is important, I will be pissed.
Jets vs Chargers game changed from SNF to 1 pm Say what?? The jets got bumped from sunday night football to a 1 pm game for a more interesting matchup in the 49er vs seahawk game. Also the giants will be moved from 1pm to 4:25 pm so they will not have to compete with the jets for New York T.V. ratings. I actually like 1 o'clock games better. I would like to see both the jets and giants play the same time of day to see who watches us or them more. This will take part on december 23rd. So they made 3 changes to 6 teams games.
Thank God! Another night of watching the Jets offense might cause a spurt in suicides throughout the TriState region.
Guy I bet you ESPN and NBC planed the MNF game and the SNF game next week because they were anticipating Tebow being the starter, thus creating high ratings. Blew up in their face.
They really do. They choked a 28-0 lead to Denver and a 21-7 lead to the Saints this year in primetime. We just lost a close game to Houston and shat all over ourselves against New England. I think we're around even if not a tiny bit better in primetime than the Chargers. Random fact: Both of Houston's losses this year have come to a QB wearing the number 12. Guess who they play twice that wears 12...
I remember last year they were set to beat KC in a primetime game, and then Phil Rivers fumbled a simple snap deep into their own territory which set up KC to win a game winning FG. That seemed like the beginning of the end for the Chargers
No the beginning of the end of the Chargers was losing in the Divisional Playoff game at home to the Jets and getting rid of Cro and LT after that loss. That started the Chargers' tailspin.
I'm pumped. I got tickets to this game for my dad's birthday right before it was flexed but knowing it was probably going to happen. It'll be our first trip to MetLife and even though I'm 25, my first football game in general. Just hoping for a win and hoping the game will have meaning.
I like 1:00 games the best followed by Sunday night, Monday night, 4:15, Thursday nights for the jets. So getting flexed out made me happy. Also a west coast team having to play early on the east coast is supposed to be an advantage.
