Just so I'm clear, Braylon Edwards calls the Jets front office a bunch of idiots, which leads to the Seahawks cutting him, and then the Jets front office picks him up?

Hope he does well because God knows this offense needs any help it can get.

'Cause up to this point, there was no reason for me to post anything here, considering my name and avatar. lol.

Now....at least for 3 games(hopefully more), I'll be posting stuff and annoying the masses about the "greatness" that is Braylon again. :D

If only for sentimental reasons I love this signing.

    Welcome back Braylon!

I like the move, especially given the Jets lack of depth and talent at WR. I have little doubt Edwards will serve to make the Jets a better team, regardless of who is at QB.

I wonder how much us picking up Bray was to keep the Pats from grabbing him, and all the shit that would follow if the Pats did.

Pats are down to 2 receivers with Stallworth headed to IR after one game back. After we claimed Bray, the Pats brought Branch back in. Wonder if the Pats might have taken a Randy Moss type chance on Bray if he was still sitting there, and if that alone was enough to get Tanny to swallow his pride.

Now that we got Braylon back, can Tanny give a call to Thomas Jones?

We still need more help at WR next year with or without Edwards people are seriously overreacting about this , You act as if we were a top 5 offense when Braylon was here, Yea he "was" good those 2 years but we haven't even seen him play a game with us yet, Id reserve thoughts of next year until we see him play the next 3 games, Because if he lost a step and isn't the same id rather move on from him, there's some good free agen't WR's out there this upcoming offseason that id take over Braylon in a heartbeat, And Scienlenz and Gates fuckin suck and don't belong anywhere near the top 5 on any team,And for all we know Hill may never get any better it could go either way theres no guarntee he is gonna get better, Im excited about the Braylon signing to but some of you guys are making it sound like he is the answer for our offense and he is gonna change everything, Our problems have deeper roots then just one tall WR who played well for us 2 years ago and has been cut twice since then by teams heading to the playoffs

    And this bothers you?

Who cares what he says regarding COLLEGE FOOTBALL?

It's only when it's NFL-related that we are right in B*tching and moaning about someone tweeting something we don't like. [IMG]

Well....I guess the saying is true :

"You always hurt the ones you love".

Fair point. However, let's worry about the "upcoming offseason" when it finally arrives, Revis.

RIGHT NOW...is what matters. And RIGHT NOW, the Jets have gotten "The Dougie-dancing Beard" back and for 3 games(at least), all is right in the world. [IMG]

Since when did Braylon Edwards become a savior? I'm all for signing Edwards back because of our lack of depth at WR, but some people are acting like this is the second coming of Calvin Johnson....... there was someone else on this team everyone thought that about as well...... oh how fast the tables turned when he became the official sponsor for Butterfinger.

Edwards move was a good move cause of the situation the Jets are in, but nowhere close to a spectacular one or major season changing one either.

Exactly, I'm realistic about what kind of production we will get out of him, at least this year, but I can't help but be excited, I knew he'd eventually be back on the Jets somehow.

why are many ignoring the potential of a extended contract already? IMO JETS should wait to see if Edwards is really done or not to even be thinking about extending a contract. I like Bray Bray but this is becoming one strong Kool-Aid.

Again, considering that Braylon's caught a grand total of 23 balls over the past two seasons combined, I don't think that Tannenbaum can be blamed for not signing him no matter what happens over the next 3 games.

Even if he gets hot, you can't exactly kill Tannenbaum for not picking up a guy who's been cut by playoff contenders in 2 consecutive seasons. It's not about ego, it's about Edwards not being very good anymore.

Hopefully coming back to the Jets gives him some kind of second wind. I'll believe it when I see it.
