This team has no quit in it. We've been through some pretty bad games this year, but they continue to fight. For that Rex is the right coach for this team.
I can't remember a player to leave the Jets in recent times that fans were so publicly upset to lose. Edwards knows the fans love him. Further, the rest of the NFL has basically forgotten him. NY is his last chance to be the star he wants to be.

This forum makes me think Braylon Edwards is the second coming of Jerry Rice. I think there's going to be a lot of disappointed fans soon, but he can't be any worse than what we have.
Shut-up it's worth him trying and working to be here, then having Clyde Gates as a #1 WR. Fans are such idiots sometimes, seriously. No one is saying he's the next Jerry Rice. The last time we were successful, this man was making plays. Maybe Mark can get into a rhythm and actually make some plays here and there.
his relationship with sanchez doesnt matter because sanchez is terrible and wont be around long. its a bad move because braylon si at best average and isnt worth his mouth and off field issues

I just find it so sad that this team rewards mediocrity so much that Braylon Edwards - who only had one great season as a Jet to begin with (in a contract year, just like Holmes) has been viewed as the most important piece of the puzzle even before that, and that anyone could genuinely believe he will magically turn back into a physical beast just because he loves the attention of being a Jet. This was a smart pickup though, but I'm not looking forward to when he gets an extension for being slightly better than Hill.

If it were up to me--sadly it is not--Holmes would be off our Roster faster than I am typing this..... Okay, I'm a slow typist, but that's still fairly quick.
the euphoria is for a few obvious reasons 1) we have shitty receivers now 2)we shouldn't have let him go in the first place. He's not the same player, but was a beast for them......had some huge playoff moments and other big catches during his brief tenure. I'd muh rather see Braylon out there than Schillens, Gates etc and the rest of the clowns we have running routes right now. too little....too late, but something positive nonetheless
