He doesn't have to work miracles. He has to be an option for Sanchez - right now he has maybe 1 with Kerley and that is it. If they want to run the ball they at least need to have the threat of a passing game.
This is a classic case of someone not doing their homework. Braylon had drop issues in Cleveland, had barely any drops with the Jets in a year and a half.
I dont disagree. But do you see some of these posts in this thread? Some people think he's going to come in and have 10 TD in 3 games.
He may not be what he used to be but i guess we will find out, Coming back could revive him, And he is better then anyone on our roster except Holmes
He is better than Holmes. He will do the little things -- like blocking -- and never worries about touches. Holmes is our Shockey, always bitching about his catches. We won a game in 2010 -- forget which -- and the SNY crew said he blew them off because he was pissed he only was targeted 3 times. Again...WE WON THE GAME but the SOB was unhappy.
^^ This... x100. 1 Drop the entire year. Compare that to how many great plays and catches he made for us that year, and the impact that he had as a blocker. I don't see how anyone can see this as anything but an upgrade in depth. Look at who he's going to be replacing. I for one would rather have Edwards then Gates or Gilyard.
So... When do we find out of he's officially a Jet? I can't be too excited until I know it's 100% official.
This time 1 million. We need to stop with the Bray Bray, the Bra-naynay, and everything of the sort. Why haven't they signed him yet?
I hope when he signs, they announce the offense at the SD game. Have him come out last like when he was first traded here from cleveland. The fans will go nuts
It's official: I'm told the Jets did, in fact, put in a waiver claim for Braylon Edwards and got him. He's officially a Jet. #nyj - Mehta
