Yeah had the Lions not choked against the Colts, then the Colts would be staring at 2 losses from the Texans, thus the Jets would be likely in if they win out. Fuck the Lions and fuck the Giants for losing to the Steelers and Bengals.
Anyone else glad we get ahold of the Bengals next season? I swear if they steal our playoff spot 2 years in a row id be pissed. Id rather lose to them and admit defeat than never get to play them. They are a thorn in the side, seriously.
We must first win out! I am still worried about next 3 games especially the chargers at home. They have an offense that can either blow you out or not show up pending mood they are in.
They have 5 offensive lineman who are out and they can't run the football. I'll take my chances allowing Philip Rivers trying to sling it against the 3rd ranked pass defense.
Aberration. The Steelers turned the ball over twice. One of the turnovers were fumbled in their own endzone.
which could all happen to the jets! Dont get me wrong I hope the jets win im just saying im worried about that game! Alot of people are looking at it as a walk in the park
It's not a walk in the park by any means, but look at all the huge leads Norv Turners team have coughed up. Up 28 against the Broncos Up 21 against the Saints Up 13 against Cincy Up 10 against the Ravens. My numbers may not be exact, but the point remains that the Chargers aren't exactly Patriots esque when protecting a lead.
With the Jets offense, if they let the Chargers get a lead (which they can easily do), they're in big trouble.
I understand but look at those offenses playing the chargers......all way better than the jets, If jets are down 21 they dont have an offense to come back
Good point. I just think if we're down by like 10 or so, we can come back against the Chargers easily. Odds are if that happens, McElroy/Tebow will be in there, because our crowd won't stand for Sanchez.
I dont trust this team to beat the Titans this week and people are all hyped up on scenarios...Titans are good at home
yeah. it's fun to think about it, but the reality is there's a 50/50 shot (or worse) it all ends monday.......
titans have a rookie qb and we know Rex eats rookie qbs with his defensive game plan i put it more like 80/20 that we win
Let's take it one week at a time. For this week, these are the games that matter and the results we need for tiebreakers (whether it's for overall record, conference record, or strength of victory over Cincy): Eagles over Bengals** Texans over Colts** Falcons over Giants Broncos over Ravens Rams over Vikings Dolphins over Jaguars Cowboys over Steelers** Bills over Seahawks Cardinals over Lions Jets over Titans *** **most important
very true beat steelers at home on thursday night.......Lets hope we get edwards and he has an amazing game and the team is full of emotion and hope!
They are also the one offense that turns the ball over more than we do! If we can run it, we can win it.
