Honestly, we played well on our Monday night game against Houston. We all know what happened Thanksgiving. Last year, I remember we had five primetime games and won two of them (Cowboys and Dolphins). We only really only got 'embarrassed' twice with the two being New England and the Ravens. Honestly, I think we play better on Monday night than Sunday night for some reason.
Sarcasm? This happens every season for the past few seasons. You aren't the most exciting game, you won't be kept in SNF.
But not all of us live in the land of unicorns and flying pigs like you do. How are we mere mortals who live in reality supposed to deal with Mark Sanchez throwing pick after pick after pick each week? Please tell us how to live in your world, because I'm sorry, there is nothing on this planet that is strong enough or hasn't been invented yet to prevent a person from going insane while watching Mark Sanchez play QB the past two weeks. It simply does not exist on planet Earth. Or we can start McElroy and make everyone happy
At least be accurate, he only fumbled last week and didn't throw a pick. We are 6-7 with THE least talented teams Rex has and are one game out of the playoffs. If you can't find optimism in that, I don't know what to tell you. We should honestly be closer to 4-12 or 3-13.
As a Jet fan you hope for one thing going into the season - get in December with something to play for. Rex has led 4 straight teams into December with a shot...talent has decreased each season on offense, defense has aged, and Tanny has drafted like crap - yet the team comes out and plays the entire season. Not always pretty but they don't quit. Now when you see that possibility the team has players that have been there and done that -- not the most talent but a lot of veterans that know what it takes in December.
Hell yes. Had plans Sunday night, really happy I don't have to go watch this crap team play instead of having a Christmas party. Now I can do both!
I live in reality where watching a game is fun entertainment, not life or death or even close. If you can't compartmentalize and cope thats your problem. I've been a Jets fan for 40+ yrs. You think this season is rough? HA!! Sure, NYJ are an inconsistent mess and at times a comedy of errors, but we're still playing meaningful football games in mid-december. Its all good. Feel free to turn off the TV and go do something else if watching a football game gets you so freaked out that its "torture".
These guys should be locked in a room, forced to watch Coslet, and Kotitite reruns, till they beg to go Lovelace on Parcells.
I'm with you. Football becomes a whole lot more fun to watch when it is entertainment instead of an obsession.
how the hell should we be 3-13 or 4-12? we beat the teams we are better than. we are not that bad of a team people need to get those darksider shades off
I hate night games for two reasons. 1.) The Jets love to stink it up when they have the primetime games 2.) Night games suck. Hopefully this games means something and it might be worth going to.
That MNF game concerns me. I fear they might shit the bed. But yeah I'm glad they flexed out the Jets/Chargers game. 49ers/Seahawks is a better matchup.
